Whatshername
Meh Is Anyone Interested in the Super Bowl? RUSH: I have to tell you something. I haven’t cared as little about a Super Bowl as I care about this one, ever. This is Super Bowl 51. I don’t remember ever being this apathetic about the Super Bowl. Are you excited about the Super Bowl, Wendy? Are you ever excited? Well, okay, never mind. What about you, Snerdley? Well, I know the Cowboys aren’t in it, but Snerdley has become a football — really, I am not interested in this. I don’t know what it is. I don’t know whether the rest of the news is so absorbing and dominating and is requiring so much attention, because, folks, I have never seen anybody, president, member of Congress, I have never seen anybody act as fast as Donald Trump is acting. I have never seen anybody attempt to implement as much, as soon, as Trump is going for here. And it is a challenge keeping up with it. ‘Cause I know what your expectations are: You tune in here every day expecting to have the ultimate, final word on every controversial matter. And I am determined to provide that for you. I’m determined to meet those expectations, and it takes a lot of time. I don’t know if it’s also because I learned that the cast of Hamilton and Lady Gaga are gonna be performing, which is clearly an anti-Trump move by the NFL. And then this whole business the way the press is dealing with Tom Brady and Belichick and the owner of the Patriots regarding their friendship with Kraft. I don’t know. And just the general way football is being reported in the past couple of years, I don’t know, folks. Right now I don’t know — well, I’m gonna watch it, but I am not doing anything special, and I’m not gonna turn the TV on much before kickoff. You know, I’m not getting into the spirit of the day. I’m gonna watch the game, and I’ll probably, depending on what happens — I’m expecting a rout, but I’m not gonna tell you which way yet. That’s another thing. I’m expecting the game to be a blowout. I’ll tell you which way I think it’s gonna go later on. https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2017/02/02/is-anyone-interested-in-the-super-bowl/

SgtFuryUSCZ
New England Patriots over falcons... 34 - 31 Not that we'll watch because we're boycotting the NFL owners for being anti-American, lefty-loving, hollyweird-supporting pinheads. But we'll be having an alcohol infused, tailgate food-fueled event here anyway and enjoy our John Wayne Movie Marathon instead ! Now THAT's American !

Right there with ya Gal's...though I'd mix a little Clint Eastwood in thar as well! Ever since the NFL allowing such unpatriotic displays...and then boycotting players from wearing shoes that supported those lives lost in 9/11...I'm about thru with them for pushing political views in a sport!

Whatshername
I predict that the SJWarriors are going to suck all the fun out of it! Secretive anti-Trump protests to erupt Super Bowl weekend in Houston HOUSTON — They gathered after nightfall at an undisclosed location downtown. People representing more than a half-dozen protest groups that are set to march and rally here Super Bowl weekend met to coordinate their efforts — in a way New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick would have appreciated. That is to say, the protesters discussed using encrypted communication that would keep opponents from intercepting their messages... ... Groups and community members involved thus far include members of the following groups: Black Lives Matter , socialists, abolitionists, communists, native Americans, Muslims, Jews, Hispanics, LGBT community members and the local Democratic party. Also planning to be on the scene: Opponents of circumcision. For real...
