Thanks Buzzy...Looking forward to moving forward on this journey we're all involved in...As the next phase will involve an entirely different aspect of investment opportunities...It's difficult sometimes, for people with compassion for others, to understand the responsibilities you, the Modes and numerous professionals will have toward members that have sacrificed to comply with set requirements to advance forward in our journey...There will be sensitive information revealed that ''paid'' members have intrusted in your confidence and I ''Thank You'' for protecting that trust...If there are individuals that are having trouble with the 50 bucks Mr. olivesman mentioned.....

I know that it sounds pessimistic but there are those that you can never help.

Adam has long said there will be the day when this site shifts toward VIP only.  He has stated that the site itself will remain open, but someone else will have to oversee it.  The chat has been open, but unused.  If there were people using it consistently every day, you might have a gripe (though, not really).  Adam has allowed us to converse and develop friendships, and we can find ways (e-mail) to know each other better.  I am a compassionate person, but I am not a socialist.  Many have sacrificed to be able to purchase the tools necessary to be prepared for the great event.  I'm not saying don't help them - I'm just saying they have known a long time this was going to happen.  This kind of reminds me of when the Church gets raptured, and those left behind say "Wait, I prayed once in 1972."  A bit extreme, I know.  One of the best quotes I ever heard was "Missed opportunity brings regret."

I agree lost one, We built some mighty strong friendship's thru the years here and its always nice to keep in touch w/everyone even if its just morning coffee or having lunch in chat. This would be nice if Chat was open to the public during certain hours or if you have a Verified  Badge. Making Chat Private would only make the non VIP members to go else where and become members at other sites and that would not be good for DV.

:(

Thnx

+1 me if you agree

Your Comments Adam, TG and or Staff

Hi Flash!  While I agree, it needs to be noted that the CHAT ROOM has been open for years... and no one uses it!  I was in recently with a couple of members a couple of weeks ago just to say hi.  And JEEPGUY actually started a thread a few weeks ago to encourage meeting there... and the thread got no interest...

So, I'm thinking Adam simply is using it as a more useful tool for VIP.

Just my observations!

I mean make sure you are receiving the emails from me. Follow the "Whitelist" instructions in my signature below.

Ditching hotmail.com, me.com, and basically every email account other than gmail is the best way to do this.

How do you get  a G-mail account? I have no problems with getting emails from Adam, or at least I don't think I've had problems!

Adam,

Do you think with our President elect purported to have millions in Dinar, that he could influence Iraq in expediting the RV? I find it hard to believe he could have much impact on how the US government taxes those holding dinar, due to the obvious conflict of interest, but let me know if I am wrong. Thank you.

One Of The First Subjects For Those Chats Will Be Bitcoin ...

Report: Bitcoin Wallet Blockchain is Partnering Dubai Government for 2020 Digitization

Samburaj Das on19/01/2017

Bitcoin wallet and block explorer resource Blockchain has been revealed as a Government of Dubai partner in the latter’s goal toward switching all government documents and transactions over a blockchain by the year 2020.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum this week in Davos, Switzerland, Blockchain CEO Peter Smith also revealed plans for expanding the company to gain a presence in the Middle East.

As reported by regional English publication The National, Smith stated:

I am very optimistic about the Middle East and we plan to invest big there. I’m really excited about it. It’s a great chance to build a new financial infrastructure in the region.

100% Blockchain

The executive did not specify details about the investment nor its value but if the report by the publication is to be believed, Blockchain’s partnership with the Dubai government is a significant achievement for a bitcoin wallet startup.

The Dubai government’s blockchain embrace was first revealed in October 2016, when the crown Prince of Dubai, Hamdan bin Mohammed, announced the “Dubai Blockchain Strategy” program. The roadmap leads to the government of Dubai executing all of its transactions on a blockchain by 2020. The prince laid claim to the fact that Dubai would be the first government in the world to do so.

Dubai is quickly proving to be a hotbed for bitcoin- and blockchain activity. The Dubai government set the ball rolling in setting up the emirate as a hub, with the establishment of the Global Blockchain Council in early 2016. In May 2016, Dubai-based bitcoin startup and exchange BitOasis completed a successful first round of seed funding. The startup saw its official launch as an exchange in September last year.

More recently, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange developed and launched an e-voting distributed ledger platform for shareholders of listed companies to register their votes seamlessly.

Regulation

Participating leaders at the Middle-East specific panel at WEF 2017 were in agreement about Fintech’s transformative potential. However, allegations of bitcoin misuse in terrorism financing led to leaders seeing the regulation of the Fintech industry as a challenge. To this, Smith reminded those attending that there was no evidence to show that terrorists had used bitcoin in the past. A Europol report in the aftermath of the Paris attacks from November 2015 confirmed the same, finding no evidence to suggest bitcoin’s use in terrorism financing.

Davos 2017: China unites 25 countries to establish Global Blockchain Business Council

Thursday, January 19, 2017

On January 17, the governmental and industrial representatives from China and 25 other countries gathered in Davos, Switzerland for the Davos Forum.

According to the latest update provided by Tai Cloud Corporation, Jamie Elizabeth Smith, the former spokesperson and special assistant of the U.S. president Obama, announced that the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) is formally established. The first national team members include senior executives of World Bank Mariana Dahan, former Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, former Prime Minister of Haidi Laurent Lamont, former Economy Minister of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavičius.

Deng Di, the head of the China Blockchain Representative Team and Chairman of Tai Cloud Corporation, invited the Chinese industry peers to join the GBBC founding conference as a co-founding member. The outstanding members of the China Blockchain Representative Team include Dr. Wei Wang, Founding Chairman of China Mergers and Acquisitions Association; Ge Ming, Deputy Chairman of China Credit FinTech Holdings Limited; Dr. Wang Yongli, former Vice President of Bank of China; Peng Yaojie, CEO of China Credit FinTech Holdings Limited, and other industrial representatives and specialists with more than 10 people in total.

The national representatives provided their progress in blockchain research in detail and reached initial consensus in the fields of global blockchain teaching, business cooperation, standard synergy, and governmental communications on the first conference of GBBC.

In industry, the layout of blockchain ecosystem is of integrity. From infrastructure to enterprise application, many excellent blockchain and fintech companies like Tai Cloud Corporation, Dian Rong, Oklink are able to compete with the best blockchain companies in the world. Many areas, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Ganzhou (Jiangxi) are actively deploying the layout of blockchain industry. It is the first time that the China Blockchain Representatives Team appeared on the World Economic Forum, which marks the efforts by the Chinese blockchain industry to join the global efforts relating to the research of blockchain technology with most positive attitude and action.

The formal establishment of the GBBC will influence more governments and enterprises to know blockchain, and provide a communication and cooperation platform for businessmen and technical experts researching blockchain application areas. Compared with R3 blockchain consortium that is dedicated to the banking transaction and settlement, the main purpose of Council is to create a more widespread mechanism for global blockchain consensus and communications among countries. This attendance of China Blockchain Representatives Team to Davos and formally establishing the GBBC not only enhances international communication, but also strengthens Chinese international influence on this emerging field.

Davos Forum

Bitfury CEO Valery Vavilov, Overstock CEO Patrick M. Byrne, and Global Vice Chair of Markets & Chair of Global Accounts Committee for EY Uschi Schreiber gave speeches at the conference.

In addition, Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke about global improvement, indicating that China will participate more actively in the international economic activities by constant and stable development and contributions for global economic improvement.

The splendid ideas about openness, sharing, equality offered by blockchain technology have been gradually admitted by the people. Blockchain technology can provide fundamental framework for new global governance, and promote technical support for more equal and beneficial international order. Blockchain technology, one of the most breaking and potential technologies at present, can bring much innovation and improvement in the fields of finance, energy, manufacturing, governance and many other potential fields, as a result of attracting much attention of many countries and large institutions. Hence, it is an important topic of discussion in the Davos Forum.

China spearheading global blockchain revolution

R3 consortium, comprising of several leading American banks, aims to research blockchain application on banking industry. IBM and Linux Foundation jointly set up Hyperledger project, aiming to jointly establish and operate a cross-industry open blockchain platform.

Blockchain technology has attracted widespread attention by national strategy, industry, academia in China. The People's Bank of China commenced researching real application on blockchain applied on future digital currency at very early stage. Consequently, many blockchain research centers and unions have been gradually established in many areas of China.

Under the assistance of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Financial Work, Chinese Museum of Finance launched “China Blockchain Application Research Center”, whose purpose is to promote social financial teaching and establishing public recognizing standards as a commonweal research platform. China Blockchain Application Research Center is the earliest national blockchain research institution. China Blockchain Application Research Center is also the main initiator and promoter for GBBC, contributing much for Chinese blockchain industry embracing the world.

Federal Reserve carefully monitoring blockchain and fintech innovations, says Janet Yellen

Thursday, January 19, 2017

Federal Reserve chief Janet Yellen recently revealed that the central bank is closely looking at the latest developments in the blockchain and fintech space.

Speaking at the Commonwealth Club, San Francisco, California on January 18, Yellen made the remarks during the Q&A round which followed her speech on “The Goals of Monetary Policy and How We Pursue Them”.

Yellen said that blockchain is “a technology that enables transactions and ownership of things to be taken care of automatically, without a need, for example, for a trusted central party to record transactions. So, it is very important new technology that could have implications for the way in which transactions are handled throughout the financial system.

"We’re looking at it in terms of its promise in some of the technologies that we use ourselves and many financial institutions are looking at it. It could make a big difference to the way in which transactions are cleared and settled in the global economy.”

Further, she said that the Feb recognizes the threat of cybersecurity. Yellen clarified that while there have been some incidents on the central bank’s public facing website, no such breach has ever happened on the Fed’s core network.

When asked about implications of cashless economy, Yellen said:

“The demand and use of cash continues to increase, but there are many important innovations taking place in the payment space. Fintech innovations that I think are very exciting in terms of resulting in faster, safer payments not only at the wholesale but also at the retail level that could change the use of cash overtime…We are monitoring those developments very carefully.

“We want to make sure that useful and welfare enhancing innovations can take place in way that we do not stifle them, yet we also want to make sure that consumers are well protected”.

European Central Bank Considering Digital Currency – Cryptocash

Yves Mersch, Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank (ECB), spoke earlier this week at the Farewell ceremony for Pentti Hakkarainen, Deputy Governor of Suomen Pankki – Finlands Bank in Helsinki –  on how the ECB could design, issue, and manage a central bank digital currency.

“Today I will focus on one type of digital money – Central Bank Digital Currency, or Digital Base Money (DBM). This is money that is characterised by two features: (1) like banknotes in circulation, DBM is a claim on the central bank; (2) in contrast to banknotes, it is digital.”

“…DBM held by non-banks could either be account-based – in this case, the central bank would open an account for every interested non-bank – or it would be value-based like cash. In this case, interested non-banks would need to be equipped with electronic wallets for holding and using DBM. A transfer of DBM would require that the funds be debited from the payer’s electronic wallet and credited to the payee’s device without the involvement of the central bank.”

“Whether DBM is account based or value based might matter for several reasons. Let me mention two. First, value-based and account-based DBM may require very different types of technology with specific safety features and costs. DLT may be fit for both, but in different ways. Second, anonymity towards the central bank can be achieved only with value-based DBM. These factors may influence the demand for DBM by non-banks and whether DBM would be used more to substitute cash or bank deposits.”

Mersch said that one reason why the discussion on DBM for non-banks has started is that they  now have technologies that could make it easier to issue DBM. This includes, in particular, Distributed ledger Technology (DLT) or Blockchain.

“DLT carries great potential, but is it already advanced enough to be applied by central banks? Reputation is crucial for central banks. We cannot afford mistakes in the technologies we employ. Before the central bank can start providing DBM to non-banks, we need to be sure not only that DBM is unlikely to have negative economic side-effects, but also that the relevant systems are operationally efficient and safe.”

Many believe that the Blockchain technology will be as important to doing business in the next decade as the Internet was in the 90's.  If done properly it should eleminate almost all fraud as well as cut expenses.  ( no need for oversite.)

You ain't lying sista! I bought into just about nearly everything that Adam had to offer, with the exception of OGIT, at a time when I simply didn't have it. But I sacrificed cigarettes{ going on 3 yrs now} and cable tv and sometimes food cost to do so because once I got into VIP it became perfectly clear to me that Adam Montana was not only no scammer but that he was quite possibly the most innovative and forward thinking  business man I've ever met.

For those that don't think you can't  afford VIP,"THINK AGAIN", you can't not afford it.  I don't care what you have to give up to get it but give it up. I did and I would easily do it again.

Bkeiller, In my understanding first you need to be VIP

To get there, First try this: http://dinarvets.com/links/upgrade

Once you are a VIP member you can then go to the links inside VIP area to create a Name Reserve. If you are VIP then go into the VIP area and find the thread on Name Reserve. The sequential steps are clearly outlined by Adam

Good luck
