The ministers held provincial council, on Thursday, 12/01/2017, a meeting chaired by Prime Minister, Nechirvan Barzani, and his deputy , Qubad Talabani. During the meeting, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, Rapper friend, a report containing the overall revenues for 2016 oil revenues , local revenues and overheads and staff salaries and operating expenses, referring to prepare a draft of revenue and public expenditure estimated for 2017. According to a statement posted on the official website of the Kurdistan Regional Government, the "cabinet instructed ministries in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and economy and stressed the need to maintain a balance between revenue and expenditure, so that they are a priority to provide the necessary funds for salaries."
