gymrat76541 Posted November 22, 2016 Report Share Posted November 22, 2016 These are rebels, once backed by the US government, who are fighting against the established government of Assad. Backed by Russia. They are hoping that the UN can intervene and stop the fighting but with Russia on the UN Security Counsel, no intervention is coming. The United States of America will not risk WWIII to save them. They need to surrender and stop the loss of life. Not saying I agree with Assad but this is getting ridiculous.
