If it came in at 5 cents that would be 50,000 per mil, right? I think 47 cents are the Gurus talking my friend. Lets see what transpires ...

Yes 10,000.00 for ever penny ....so  5 cents would be $50,000,.00.   Crazy right....:o  :woot:

Hey folks,

When is the soonest you think the dong might RV?

Who knows, but the article MIT posted stated possibly end of August, probably Sept.

All I know is they ordered a boat load of jets (like around 100 of them!) They really are building their economy up. Iran looks like they might be a good one to pop in the near future also. Hopefully something happens. (I refuse to use the word SOON) lol

Climber .....It's anyones guess at this point.  The good news is that it looks to be happening like Gypsy girl said Aug / Sept.  For this currency you can buy it at your local bank. Thats the cheapest way IMO. Thats what I did. And ask for large denominations or else they'll give you a bunch of mixed bills and you don't need that.

Just an FYI for all VND holders.   I was talking to a friend of mine who also holds VND and he was telling me that in 1964 it was worth $2.27 . He thinks it can start at .10cents float to .15-.35 cents  and then some.    Everyone has a number but no one really knows.  Just thought I'd share.  :D

I purchased the minimum amount I could from First Citizens Bank about 6 months back...something like $250 worth...I don't even remember the rate...but hey, if it goes to 2 cents who cares? :eyebrows:

Thx Rod. I just ordered from Travelex which was nice and quick. I didn't want to have to open up an account just for that.

Keeping fingers crossed something happens, with Vietnam ordering 100 new jets I believe their economy is on the up swing! All I need is a couple hundred thousand to open a business and Im good.
