md11fr8dawg
SG, what programs do you get with sling. I use to travel a lot and had a slingbox, so I could watch US tv from around the world, especially the NFL games. Or is this not the same thing? Just wondering what programs you had to give up with sling. Like you, I hate Cable and satellite TV. They keep raising the prices and decreasing the service. Wish they would offer a la carte programing, but that would be too logical.
RodandStaff
Been wanting to get rid of cable for a while...thought about Roku but hadn't heard of Sling yet. What do you do for Internet service Snow?
SnowGlobe7
We get internet through COX still (do not get me started on them...I am not a fan) It is really the only option I am aware of due to Hubby and his conference calls ect that he needs for business...and all my cat videos (hee heee heeee) and DV surfing!!! We have a amazon fire and a roku....we switch it up...sometimes you can get in a rut. Sling and Hulu are my favs....sling has the HBO for the boxing I like to watch and movies...ESPN...AMC..(love the old movies)tnt..tbs...A&E...history....BBC america.... HGTV...food network...travel channel...local channels..disney...Lifetime....I think you can upgrade but just pick what you want...no packages and can drop whatever you want whenever. All of this including internet is $67 dollars plus tax. We get the best internet we can....and then I think right now the only extra is HBO that we are paying. Much cheaper than cable or dish/direct TV It takes a little getting used to jumping around and punching a few buttons to get to where you want, but it is easy...I mean I can figure it out...and Husband says my electronics level is lightswitches...LOL For NFL we get the package every year ..I gotta have my football!!!! I encourage you all to give it a try and drop the big Corporations....and you really do get more choices on what to watch for less money... A LOT LESS!!
