Remain in denial as long as you wish, but what I said makes perfect sense, I’ll type this slowly so maybe you can understand.  You have said before that you do not support Hildabeast but are proudly a Never Trumper.  Cruz basically said the same thing last night.  Politics makes for strange bedfellows so like it or not, you and Ted are sharing the same sheets on this one.  Hope it’s good for you.

There's any number of news feeds you can find the story on.  It will take a speck of browsing, but I suspect you're up to the task.  Verbal violence is still violence, and in many cases leads to LOVE.....or your avatar if you will....especially when emotions run high and rational thought has waved bye bye.  Now, it is true I'm a "Never Trumper", can't, won't and don't want to deny it, but a Cruz lock stepper, hardly.......If guilt by association is your thing, then so be it.  No chance of ever talking those types off the ledge.

Hey RV, Just as Cruz may well have committed career suicide by proving he knows nothing about honor, ethics, or morality, and single handed relegated himself to "whinyassed sore losers", he, like shabbs, exist on nothing but anger and emotion. Not many people noticed it, but aside from breaking the pledge he took which he used to attack Trump during the early run, Cruz also took the side of a criminal sex offender that tried to take a cops gun and got killed for it.

I wonder how many little girls will grow up normal now, after NOT getting molested because that POS is dead?

Cruz proved he was never presidential material, but even more, he sold out not just the republican party, but America as well, for nothing more than his poor over-inflated ego.

All i have seen when it comes to politics here is the very anger and emotion you speak of

coming mostly from those who claim to have all the answers. Is that not true? Tearing someone

apart because they do not think or act like you is based upon anger and emotion, and that has been

the play book I see here all the time when it comes to politics or religion because I have been the

target of it also just because I do not buy the approach.

 

How about people start getting back to working together to find solutions to the real world issues

that plague us all, and stop acting like a hit squad against anyone who may have differing opinions.

I have asked many times to receive answers to questions I have posed when it comes to all the hot air

and clever cliches tossed about in here. I have yet to get a response on real issues about our country.

Go to the "neo-liberalism" thread that I have asked these questions. It would be nice to have a discussion about

those things if indeed it is possible to discuss without accusing, bashing, whining, bitching and blaming.

Thanks for the support DM, and fear not, Shabbs does not get me down.  I enjoy using a liberals’ own words to demonstrate how foolish they are.  Usually does not take much effort, like the time he said in the same post that Cruz was exactly what the Country needs but he would never vote for him.  Or when he gives a pass to those actually committing acts of violence against Trump supporters and has to try to pathetically equate that with verbal violence (whatever he imagines that to be) by Trump supporters.  It appears that since he is impaled on a fence post it cuts off the oxygen to his brain.

 

Speaking of pathetic, Cruz really screwed the pooch last night.  He didn’t have to campaign for Trump but he should have lived up to his word and supported the party nominee.  Very disappointing and he was my man going in.  Apparently to Ted, “oath” means nothing as long as he can rationalize a reason for breaking it.  Since he has demonstrated his “oath” has no meaning or value I do not want, and would never support, him taking an oath of office of any kind.

Jim, that statement would be valid for almost anyone else, but you seem to have neglected to factor the many many times I have offered an olive branch in the past, only to be slapped in the face.

I do not have time for bull, or patience for platitudes.

You and I have disagreed, and have been able to easily carry on a friendly discussion. 

The reason for that is both of us hold consistent positions. Neither of us would support something we don't agree on just to make a point, and both of us are honest, even when we are wrong.

If you had spent the last two or three years pouring your soul into a discussion only to have shabbs flip flop his position and then make a joke of your words, you would understand how many of us feel.

I have had incredible discussions with a great many people here, some have influenced me, I have influenced others, the common denominator was honesty, something shabbs only had when it benefits.

Admonish all you want, I logged on, saw he was pulling his usual snarky crud with a person I respect, and jumped in.

If you don't like it, that's your problem, I don't care.

I just finished working on the race bike, and now have to load up and drive 5 hours. The 4th event in our season is this weekend.

I'll be lucky to get three hours sleep on an air mattress in the track trailer, parked on the side of the road before the gates open, then will be tweaking the bike for the track all day, getting ready for Saturday qualifiers and Sunday heats.

Between running my own company, working the Trump campaign, working my son's campaign,( who is running for state legislature), dealing with employee thefts, wandering crack addict thefts, and road racing motorcycles, I rarely have even a couple spare minutes, much less hours to donate to an internet discussion.

I usually find something to agree with you about on your posts, but defending shabbs attacks on women is definitely not one.

Thanks for the response. I am a bit confused at the statement in bold. Where did I defend or mention about

"Shabs attack on women"? Because I commented on what I see when it comes to politics and religion here,

the anger and emotional responses are common? No reference to what you assumed I was making. It was

just about approach and what I saw as being a bit hypocritical in regards to your anger and emotional responses

comment. I simply do not buy the approach in general when communicating or trying to make a point. I write

a lot daily, I communicate a lot daily with many people some who disagree heartily with me, but I have yet

to condemn them for their opinions and it is always cordial responses and bottom line we all learn something

AND find solutions together. My comment was my observation is all.

 

Anyway, it would be great at some point to have good discussion without the anger and emotions that are quite

common especially with politics, religion. We are all in this together, we may as well make it productive if we can

when it comes to the issues that matter to all of us. You guys are intelligent and I know you all care about our country,

and we are all tired of the propaganda and the BS we see daily. No need to rail against each other, rather

when you have time, let's discuss the issues and how it is possible to correct what we seem to have little power to

do so. That has been the basis of my questions, and i would really like to hear some thoughts about them and HOW

we can approach them. So much has gone on for so many decades, I do not see how we can recover the ability

to actually hold the posers in DC accountable. We are for the most part powerless in too many issues. i would

like to read your thoughts and anyone else who care to discuss these things.

 

I understand you are busy, we all are, no problems. Some time it would be interesting and hopefully helpful.
