Agreed MIT...the company managing those 2 trains is private ( not the nat'l Itallian railways) Sadly enough that particular area has still just one track and something has evidently not worked properly...Also the 2 trains collided on a bend so both conductors couldn't see the other train and the impact speed was tremendous...It seems there were no braking attempts at all..
