Parliament is debating the government Banking Act in preparation for approval

BAGHDAD / JD / .. announced the economic and investment commission in Parliament for the inclusion of the Governmental Banking Act of Parliament within the agenda of the meeting today to discuss it and vote on it.

Said committee member Rep. Najiba Najib told / KD / A committee of economy and investment, and in coordination with the Finance Committee will present a package of important economic laws to the presidency of the parliament in order to discuss and vote on them.

She added that the parliament session for today includes a discussion and approval of the draft law, which the government banks is one of the important laws regulating the biggest being the work of banks in Albuld.anthy 8 agenda /

The banking act is really important for Iraq future.!

The banking act will provide a safer and more effective use of the assets of banks, to regulate interbank control, to prevent the undue diversion of funds into speculative operations, and for other purposes.

Is like the FDIC in United States.

The banking act wIll give some kind of security to people who want to invest in the country.

It may help the Iraqi people to start trusting the banking system.
