THE CENTRAL BANK SOLD MORE THAN 131 MILLION DOLLARS IN FOREIGN CURRENCY AUCTION TODAY

Iraq, April 20, 2016 The Iraqi Central Bank sold today, at the weekly auction for the sale of foreign currency of $ 131 million. A statement by the bank said that the size of the amount sold today reached $131 million and 24 thousand and 31, priced at 1182 dinars to the dollar exchange rate, with the participation of 33 banks and 21 financial company for converting."  He pointed out that "the amount of remittances and credits amounted to $ 110 million , 614 thousand and 31, while the quantity sold in cash was 20 million and 410,000 dollars."  The statement pointed out that the sale of amounts transferred to accounts in banks abroad be priced at 1190 dinars per dollar, and the cash sales price shall be the price of 1182 dinars per dollar. Central closed the day down auction sales to $ 106 million

 

 

Economy News / Baghdad ...   Nkhvdt CBI sales, at the end of the weekend, in the auction for the sale of foreign currency to $ 106 million, after it was yesterday $ 107 million. According to a statement of the Bank of Economy News received a copy of it, "The size of the amount sold today reached 106 million, 782 thousand, and $ 96, priced at 1182 dinars exchange rate against the dollar, and with the participation of 30 banks and 23 financial transfer company."  He added that "the amount of remittances and credits amounted to 59 million, and 949 thousand, and $ 128, while the quantity sold was $ 13 million in cash, and 485 thousand dollars." And that "the sums transferred to the accounts of banks selling abroad is priced at 1190 dinars per dollar, and the cash sales price shall be the price of 1182 dinars per dollar."   na
