GM blueskyline an all of DV...Looks like dissolving Parliament might be the way to go...

Good morning Yota, I tend to agree with you, I believe the corruption and mismanagement of funds and the inability to make decisions on key points of interest for the Iraqi people will send the government spinning on their heels for weeks on end. Fire the whole lot of them and move on before they rob the country completely blind and drain it dry of all possible recovery.

Abaibi will NOT  ever get a a more perfect situation or backing than he had right now.

The three presidencies, al-Sadr, Hakim along with the US and coalition forces are all in harmony on cleaning house, passing the remaining laws and instituting financial reform.

Abaidi can declare a national emergency due to corruption, completely suspend parliament, call for early elections and in the interim, the three presidents can pass all the remaining legislation.

When he suspends parliament, Abaidi must have Interpol there to arrest Maliki and all his colleagues. They can arrest him for one crime that he cannot regain his freedom..... the massacre at Camp Speicher.

To cut and dried.

That won't happen.

"Sadr, a major proponent of the technocrat cabinet, has continued to organize protests to get them into place...

The Sunni MPs also appear supportive of the idea, while the larger Shi’ite bloc, of which Abadi is a member, oppose the idea."

This isn't about what the big money players think, or the rest of the world for that matter.

Its secular economic/political/social warfare that's gone on for centuries.

I have been around the block many times in my 70+ years, served in our military for > 35 years and involved in our nation's covert counter intelligence. You believe what you will....the world's power players are being held back from making trillions of dollars in Iraq and the movers and shakers in this old world ALWAYS get their way, politics be damned.

Here is a link you may want to look at regarding EO 11110 signed by then President John F. Kennedy.  It is five pages and there is a purported quote by JFK at the end you may find interesting.

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwj9p4aM1ZDMAhUE7mMKHbqoAkQQFggcMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fecclesia.org%2Fforum%2Fuploads%2Fbondservant%2FjfkP.pdf&usg=AFQjCNGkTO2GXIxjf6QWzcg1SAyyrrr84g

My dad passed away some time ago but he said occasionally, "The thing that got JFK killed was he was trying to figure out who was pulling the world's money strings."  I wish I would of asked him why he said that.

In my opinion, the secular economic/political/social warfare that's gone on for centuries is real but a cover for more nefarious exploits by a select few who control and implement the monetary policies outside of public view.  There may be competing interests/monetary policies, and I suspect there are, that play out issues in the realm of the awareness of the general populous (economic/political/social).

In my opinion, it really is all about what the big money players think (and want).  In my opinion, if JFK got killed doing what he did, then the issues playing out in Iraq are a mere pittance in comparison.  I could be wrong, but I suspect the news articles will bear out the fate of those responsible for blocking the progress of the cabinet replacements and reform implementation in surprising ways very soon.
