mr.unlikely
Will someone please tell me how come this guy is still sucking air off this planet? I thought that they were going to incarcerate all the corrupt butt wipes? They missed the biggest dingleberry of all, that Klingon Al Maliki. Only the corrupt politicians are upset with the cabinet reshuffle. Go figure that Maliki is squawking the loudest. At some point they are going to have to round his flea infested, camel smelling a$$ up and give him what he deserves. (No offense camels). Unfortunately he may be able to stall this thing. I hope parliament comes through with the approval vote if, for nothing else, to shut Maliki up for a minute. Man, I wish that guy would take a dirt nap!

TennesseeCherokee
Maliki is messing with the wrong man, now...... It was Abaibi & the cleric Hakim who asked Moqtada al-Sadr to stop at the Green Zone and to peacefully protest. Sadr made it very clear that these technocrats were to be installed, all pending laws passed and the government at once give the citizens their share of the oil proceeds. This will be Iraq's last chance at a peaceful conclusion at forming a democratic government. If Maliki continues to meddle and interrupt the installation of these new technocrat cabinet members, Sadr is going to morph into something that will make Iran's Qod Forces look like catholic choirboys. If these reforms are stalled by Maliki, Sadr will unleash his million man army, storm the Green Zone and round up all these thieves......this time Sadr's Brigade will torture and decapitate. Maliki's head will be paraded around Baghdad on a pike.

DoD
My thinking has always been that things will continue to be in disarray an complicated until Maliki an the SOL block has been delt with... You can't go through the motions of trying to rid the country of corruption when you have one of the top most corrupt officials still living in palaces an still part of the government. Just my opinion of course.
magawatt
Nuri is worth more alive than dead. Over $50,000,000,000 more if my recollection is correct. I'd suggest offering him a $10,000,000 finders fee if he can somehow recover the $50B accidently misplaced during his PM tenure , with the understanding that he will reside in Uganda and will be hung if he dabbles in politics anywhere ever again. The alternative to his cooperation would be visit to the basement.

I suspect al-Sadr's influence will grow even more with al-Maliki and associates dispatched and the Iranian Qod (militias) expelled off Iraqi soil (Turkish forces will likely, too, be booted) as well as all the other noncoalition forces (ISIS extermination included) making Iraq more of a stand alone entity. All good news for us. For those who may not know, CV stands for Curriculum Vitae. A Curriculum Vitae is kinda like a resume but includes other biographic information not typically included in resumes in the US.
