Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi confirmed to reconsider the agreements signed with oil companies in the light of the developments of the big drop in oil prices. The government pointed out that the interest in the oil sector is linked to the potential of the country and its place among the producing countries, the oil ministry to negotiate with the company "Lukoil" Russia to raise oil production volumes and an end to the phenomenon of burning natural gas. According to the Information Office of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, said Ebadi received today in his office the President of Russia's LUKOIL Faguyt Alekperov and his entourage. Just for the fact oil is back to around $40 for them and that's what they based their budget on. Granted the price was down most of the first quarter, they should be feeling a little relief for now.
