The RINO hacks in DC HATE him, even more than they hate the American Public.

That alone is almost enough to vote for the guy.

Plus, he made Chris Christie his  biatch.

Wouldn't even let the toon have a seat during his 30 minute post Super Tuesday speech.

Chris Christie is a spineless jellyfish two faced lying RINO, it's fun to watch him grovel to his new daddy.

Love it.

Would be nice if Cruz found his stride, but then, Lindsey Graham announced he was supporting Cruz..

That's almost enough to NOT vote for Cruz.

One thing is for sure, after this election, the GOP is changed forever.

The conservative voice that started with Ron Paul has become a lions roar, striking fear into the evil black hearts of every dirtbag politician.

If Americans would only finally wake the hell up and take back their power.

The people’s Donald

Barring a backroom deal which would break several records for wire pull-ery, Donald Trump will be the 2016 Republican nominee for president of the United States. Unless Senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio and Governor John Kasich pull off a show-stopper worthy of one of Trump’s own memoirs, they’re going to be submitting resumes to Trump’s vice presidential search team.

Forget the “experts.” Flush the “prognosticators.” Tell the talking heads to take a long walk off a short pier. The people have spoken. And Donald Trump is their man. The GOP threw everything but the kitchen sink at him; and then he used Super Tuesday to drag them out back and smack the tar out of them. And judging by the polling results, the people didn’t just watch; they held the GOP down.

As far as I’m concerned, the Republicans have no one to blame but themselves. Seven years of talking tough on camera and then batting their eyes at President Obama behind closed doors created Trump. Seven years of playing defense for the banksters created Trump. Seven years of keeping their foot in the door for every northbound illegal alien created Trump. They can either take Trump’s ascendancy as the lesson in humility they needed, or they can stand as bridesmaids at another Trump wedding.

Whatever you might think of Trump as a candidate or a man, there’s no denying his campaign has been nothing short of a masterwork. He correctly identified that the public’s dissatisfaction with congress was less an endorsement of Obama and more an indictment of the Republicans’ failure to drop the curtain on his dance across the Bill of Rights. Trump exploited the gap between the Republicans’ rhetoric and the Republicans’ action, and caught them so blind-sided that he left them looking out their ear holes.

But that gap only existed because the Republicans refused to fill it. A deal was there to be made, and making deals is kind of Trump’s “thing.” And the people are buying what he’s selling. Judging by the Super Tuesday returns, Trump is not only piling up delegates, he’s piling up believers. While Hillarious Clinton’s jalopy of a campaign sputtered past Bernie Sanders’ wheezing mule, Trump rocketed past the field like an F-18 buzzing the Democrats’ horse-drawn caravan of crusty old white people. While Democrats found better things to do with their time than mash the button for one of their party’s dogs, Republicans lined up for Trump like people used to line up for the Rolling Stones before they got all old and weird. With vote totals on the Republican side exceeding even 2008 levels, Trump can make a legitimate case for being the most energizing candidate since Ronald Reagan rocked the house in 1980.

Trump took Obama’s imperiousness and the Republicans’ cowardice and gave the people an alternative. Granted, some serious questions about what that alternative actually entails remain glaringly unanswered. But the GOP hasn’t provided a worthwhile answer to Obama’s errors despite control of congress and most of the state houses and governor’s mansions. Trump has built a considerable pile of money knowing precisely what to offer in return for future returns. His occasionally-spotty record of delivering said returns have clearly dampened neither his love for deal-making nor the number of people lining up to make one with him. Whatever a potential Trump presidency might entail, it won’t be Obama, nor will it be some weak-kneed RINO. And the record crush of voters casting ballots for Trump while turnout for the Democrats got worse ratings than the Oscars suggests it won’t be Hillarious Clinton, either.

So take a good look, Republicans. To further mangle one of Obama’s already-tortured enunciations, “you built that.” The people asked, chided, cajoled and begged for an active operation against Obama and the Democrats in the increasingly ugly and even violent war on liberty. And you responded with field generals like Mitt Romney, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell. Even now, as the door to the 2016 nominations swings closed, Romney has risen like the ghost of nominees past to snipe at Trump from behind a hastily set up press conference. It’s telling that a two-time loser would take cheap shots at Trump on the practice field after failing to make the varsity – twice – rather than learn the lesson that the people are tired of career politicians and their repetitive, losing banter.

Like it or not, the people clearly like Trump. The GOP now faces a “teachable moment” of their own design. There’s probably a lesson in there for the Democrats, too; but they’re even more obtuse than the GOP. The hell with them.

Well people Trump is in till the end, like it or not.  Study him, research him, listen to him and read between his lines, because when it comes down to the last minute we still have to vote and vote with a conscience.

Like I mentioned in an other thread,  there is no perfect candidates, but one is destine to fulfill this position, whomever is chosen, we have to go full force to support them.

If Hildabeast is given the opportunity to hold the Chief position, this she-devil will shatter our country!!!

We agree, PATTY ANGEL -- and we've looked / are looking long and hard at Trump,

Wanting seriously to believe he can deliver the goods on what we're lacking to pull us back from the brink.

We have acknowledged right here on DV some positive things about him we condone,

and questioned other aspects of him as a potential employee for We The People.

Not ever in our voting lives have either of us vetted a Presidential Candidate so thoroughly.  Or had to.

If he'd just quit with the side-show antics and converse with us like an adult, it'd sure make our job easier !

We need an even-keeled trustworthy guy.

Sometimes it sounds like he's speaking down to us and insulting our intelligence.  Not good.

We want him to quit lobbing verbal grenades trying to light up the sky with 'his awesome wonderful self' and

just let us see his heart-felt intent for our Republic.  Less drama -- more sincerity.

Thanks Divemaster...Very eloquently stated ''pattyangel''...It's very easy to diminish and criticize without a solution to the purpose of your intent...To suggest in the terms of enlightenment of perspective goodness in your intent has a merit of worth...The demeanor of the two concepts are basically the root issues of the situation in which we face at present....

Not easy to criticise.  Must have facts, dig for Truth, form educated opinion, exercise right to verbalise.

And not every opinion MUST offer a solution.  That is flat wrong.

One can see a problem exists without necessarily knowing it's remedy every time.  Wise up.

Until a Candidate tells THE TRUTH, is TRANSPARENT, HONEST and FORTHRIGHT we'll have a problem.

And THERE is your problem with no solution.  :confused2: It's called a politician.  <_<

....You've missed the point entirely...opinions are one thing, your intent is another...Research is a wonderful thing, if it's expressed within the intent of your opinion...It's kind of like engaging your mine before you express your opinion...Sometime no comment is the best retort...

Should have taken your own advice....attacking us was not warranted in any measure.

You should have read our posts. Had you done so, you never would've 'commented' like you did .  :shakehead:

Yup...Our opinions ARE one thing.

And you have NO idea as to our intent -- except, that if you'd have read our posts -

would KNOW we have NO intent at this point in time !

Yup, should've taken your own advice and NOT COMMENTED !   :P   :lmao:

With the many vets in this forum I believe that it's time to get a commander and chief who does not put our vets with rules of engagement that endangers them, the ones they may be protecting, and and gives the tools terror groups need to advance their cause.   A week commander in chief has to go.  If not for fraud some presidents would have NEVER got the 2nd term.

I hear ya.  I hope he is too.    He has said that, if he doesn't own up to it, you can bet he will be a one term.  Folks are mad and tired of tyrants.

I just hope these debates don't repeat this last one, I can't take reality shows.   Hurry up November.

I agree........This is Trumps problem ......he turns people off by his arrogance and side shows.  If he would change his approach he would change peoples minds.

Thanks for understanding, MIT...  Imagine two 'OlGals like us with so much livin' under our belts feelin'

like we're hard up against a wall of indecision this political season.

Heartbreaking is an understatement. :(

When we wish we could put on our glittery red, white and blue Uncle Sam top hats, wave our little flags,

and scream proudly, "USA !, USA!, USA!" at the top of our lungs from the Convention floor.

Instead,  we're sifting through garbage like a couple of old vultures looking for a

bone with any DECENT meat still left on it. :facepalm3:

God I hope the GOP is changed forever, but at this point I do not see any evidence this will be the case.  If the goal is to “take our Country back” the first step is taking away the power from the established professional politicians who have had a stranglehold on who we are “allowed” to vote for.  If they are victorious in pushing Rubio to the top in this election cycle, or if they are successful getting to a “brokered convention” there will be no change going forward.  If Trump or Cruz were to win, well then we can begin the celebration for the death of the establishment professional Republican politicians.

Graham be damned, at 10 A.M. today I will be caucusing for Cruz.  Even though I have been disappointed that Cruz has followed Rubio’s lead in attacking Trump, Cruz’ attack has not been based on personal attacks like Rubio.  Cruz has just been saying that Trump can’t beat Hildabeast (which I do not believe).

Seems to me the establishment Republicans think their best bet to retain their power is to get to Cleveland without any candidate having 1,237 delegates which would allow a dreaded smoke filled room selection by those same people from which we are trying to wrest said power.

If we do get to the convention without a winning candidate I would love to see Trump negotiate with Cruz and make the announcement that as President his first action would be to nominate Cruz to fill Scalia’s’ SCOTUS seat.  That could unify those sick and tired of the establishment power and I think that would be a win/win.  Would be like sticking two fingers in both eyes of those professional politicians and would be a giant leap in taking our power back.
