I think if both of y'all would put just half of the efforts to go find another life, you would probably be more successful than you have been here. Just give it up ! Accept defeat! Embrace it ! There's nothing you can do ! That Shiite hole over in he Middle East may never pay out. But then again , my oil stocks are on the rise ! I still have a suitcase of dinar ! And Trump is going to sweep the elections! Go RV !

Tex , I do have another LIFE. I'm an INVESTOR. I check the market daily. When things are dull there I come here to get cheered up.  Seeing that things could be worse sometimes makes MY DAY!  Yeah the news out of Iraq is not good these days.

I note that the traffic on the site is down,

If you have new cash to invest some oil stocks are ripe.. Those that have retail/refining business are doing OK. they always profit on every gallon regardless of the price of crude.  Valero is good.

Well I only have one life but i do try to spend my time wisely.  I spend only a fraction of the time I used to here at DV or by chasing news articles out of Iraq. Weaning myself slowly LOL. Its easy enough to waste hours and hours on the computer and internet. This site has taught me alot so why not stick around and keep learning? It sure beats watching Youtube or Porn  all day long.

So Rock whats your opinion on precious metal prices?  I have been accumulating quite a bit of AU with my hobby of Gold mining. I have hit on quite a few good holes recently. Enough to make the wife want to help dig in the desert which I would have never thought would happen.

As you know I Bought the gold claim and a whole lot of Silver with my the dinar i cashed in.

My family is just fine, "Mr. SHILL", how's yours? Well got to go. The pompano are running and that calls for some serious surf casting. Sure beats sitting in my basement counting my dinars. Now let's all go out and vote for Kasich, the best presidential candidate out there, even if the people of this great country don't realize it. If you vote "anger", you will be putting hillarious in the WH for 8 years. She will appoint at least 3 Supreme Court justices during that time. Take a guess who they will be like. That's a heavy price to pay for voting on anger.

Kasich is not electable .............simple really. Regardless of what he stands for. Alot like here in Da Tank..................all we got to choose from .................are CLOWNS.

Exactly.  Who better to understand the plight of the American blue collar worker......than a born silver spooner?     :peace:

GO RV, then BV

Hey Shabs!!!!

Sadly we voters are going to get the shaft regardless of whether its Hillarious or Trump.

Howdy Caz.

Yep, sadly we're scraping the bottom of the barrel for the next POTUS.  This is going to sting, but I have to actually agree with Antietam on this......Kasich is the most sensible choice.  And you are also correct.  For some bizarre reason, he's not electable.  GOP Flavor of the Month appears to be Trump.

GO RV, then BV

SD, I have a few gold coins and made a tidy profit with gold ETFs with the big run up.  But sitting on physical gold is not my thing. I like to collect regular dividends and trade on the bumps in the market. I'm 79 and need the liquidity.  My garden gives enough exercise.

Your gold mining hobby is an adventure of a lifetime , have fun.

Caz and Shabs, why not  start your own political thread , its dirtying up the water in the tank!

It is a pretty darn good hobby Rock. Its hard work but turning out to be profitable.  Just finished panning out my concentrates from a day trip prospecting last weekend to a new unclaimed spot near Randsburg. Three hours of digging at one hole and i found a nice 6 gram nugget with about another 6 grams of fines.  Not to Shabby. No pun intended Shabs.

***///  The Pre-Colombian Indians in Central America carried baskets of earth on thier backs

down to the Pacific Coast from  the now-dormant volcanic mountains,

where centuries earlier the lava flows had hit the sea and left sprawling spits of flat rock formations.

They bored out holes in the volcanic rock shelves, 1'-3' +/- deep,

about 10"-1' wide and pointed (conical shaped) at the bottom.

At low tide, they dumped the dirt into the holes.

High tide comes, washes away the dirt, leaves heavy Gold in bottom of hole!

They come at low tide and "harvest" it !  PRESTO ! Pretty clever ! :twothumbs:

Hope you enjoyed our Gold in Panama story !:tiphat:
