k98nights Posted June 15, 2010 Report Share Posted June 15, 2010 Iraqi ports receive 13 commercial ships today Tuesday, June 15th 2010 3:23 PM Basra, June 15 (AKnews) - The Iraqi commercial ports south of Basra received on Tuesday 13 commercial ship from different nationalities with various tonnage, in a single day and this indicates the active work in the Iraqi ports," the Director of Media Department in Basra Ports said on Tuesday."The Iraqi commercial ports south of Basra ,(Umm Qasr, Khour Al-Zubair, Abu Folus), received today 13 commercial ships from different nationalities with various tonnage and this indicates the clear change in the situation of the Iraqi ports," Anmar al-Safi said."Abu Folus port, southeast of the city, received four commercial ships from different nationalities and with various tonnage. The ship "Nizdan" from the Panamanian nationality, loaded with 103 containers and coming from the UAE docked on Berth 3, while the Iranian ships that docked on Berth 2 are: "Rida 4" loaded with 453 tons of white cement, "Aref", carrying 753 tons of cement, and the ship "Ahmadi" loaded with 979 tons of cement as well," he added."Khour Al-Zubair port received on its docks: "Rim" ship from Panama, "Ahura", "Mizan", "Yamamah" and "Nour al-Rahman" ships from Iran," he also said.The Iraqi ports in Basra Province (550 km south of Baghdad) are receiving commercial vessels from all over the world.Rn/SH (AKnews)http://www.aknews.com/en/aknews/2/155391 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
