I just read an article (translated ... so from a ME source) that indicated Maliki was behind the bank incident, aimed at destroying documents about his fraudulent use of funds, etc. Not surprising. If true, very sad!

Just a thought. As sad as this news is, it could push the government to get things done. Also, al-Qaida hates the US and perhaps this was an attempt to sabatash the RV of the Dinar which would help the US economy as well as the economies of the world. I am just glad they did not succeed and shame on the politicians for dragging their feet at the expense of their own people. I hope this perhaps brings them to their senses in a new motivation to help their people and not their own selfish interests.
