Snowglobe, if you read caz's response you will quickly see that he/she is not volunteering to buy my dinar. I was quite confident that he/she would avoid my proposition. Caz is quick to put down those who aren't "gold gilded RV tomorrow" proponents. But he/she is absent when it comes to buying more dinar, even at my cut rate prices. In other words, all blow and no go. Have a good day caz. I say these things in jest, so please don't hate on me. I have such tender feelings these days.

And, kind sir if you read my post.....I understand that he was not volunteering to buy....my comment was that he WOULD offer to buy if it came to that...just to prove you wrong.

It was a poke at caz, he understood and found me funny.

Good day to ya!

Hey Tex. You say you hold $500,000 worth of oil stocks. Was that what they were worth last year? Because they sure aren't worth that now, my brother! Last time I checked West Texas sweet crude was selling for $32 a barrel! Your current net worth is now somewhere around $200,000, which puts you in my back seat!

SD, I have several friends who have a similar guilt experience, because they too encouraged many to invest. The "get rich quick" synapsis is wired in every person's brain. Just look at the lunacy of the power ball craze right now. It's funny that the same odds apply to winning regardless of how many people buy tickets or the size of the pot. If the payoff was $1 or 1 billion dollars, when you pick six or seven numbers at random it's still 300 million to one you will hit it. Yet people are rushing down to their local convenience stores with their social security checks or welfare payments to slap down hundreds of dollars for a chance to hit it big. Sounds eerily like what we all did with the dinar from 2007-2012. Even today there are enough dinar "newbies" to make it profitable. My guess is our odds of hitting a millionaire making RV are just about the same as the power ball. About 300 million to one!

What a BUZZ kill.............yet folks won...........and there lives are forever changed. Thank God you didn't know them and try to persuade them NOT to buy a ticket. Their choice......their dream.

And yet you are here....as we all are.....and for the record I bout about $20 in tickets.....and yes I hope to win, but it is not my retirement plan.

There are many people who spend to much on many things, vacations, trips to the mall, target, Walmart, and things that are "unnecessary" hair, nails, vehicles....more than they can afford, some of these are through peer pressure as well.

Many get their needs met in this way....the dinar, lottery or the casino is no exception. Some need professional help, other just have no self control.

SG7,

Great post!

I question the sanity of those that either don't believe (RV) or aren't even vested. I talked to a head shrink (golfing buddy)a few years back and posted his thoughts here. In a nutshell (pun intended) his response was..............SMH & laughter.

If ya lost faith and/or divested yourself...............what sane reason are ya still here? Oh yeah I've heard from some it's to get new & exciting cooking recipes.......or revenge/hate.......I let those with common sense decide which.

Typical caz. Just can't see out of the box you're in. Very concrete, my friend. We are the same in that we hold dinars. We are different because I can see the evolution of iraq in a way that has made a 1 to 1 RV an impossibility, in my opinion, of course. Back in 2011.....maybe. Now? Not a chance. Should I sell? Probably. But I am just stubborn enough to hold and see if iraq can get back on track. Without the oil reserves, I would never consider keeping my dinars. With the oil reserves.......I'll hold for a little longer. I always have rich oil man Tex to buy them from me at $1100 a million. I can't lose money, unless ole Tex renigs and quietly disappears back into his computer.

. I didn't actually say how much that I have in oil stocks aunty but I assure you that your not even close. Yes I'm deep in the tank brother but you don't here me crying and I know that just one war will put me back on top. I still work my butt off to stay in my comfortable life style and I am 100 % debt free. You should really bail while you can , I'm sorry I don't care for crybabies, I think it's time that you man up !

Hear Hear.....we love being 100 percent debt free, it make me not being able to find a job much less stressful. A smaller home than I would like, but both vehicles are paid off and we have just eliminated the DirectTV bill and have gone to streaming, a total cost of $12 a month compared to $118.

My oil stocks alone account for 1% per cent of what you are crying about ! We will see who is the biggest sucker is in the end .....Rainbow ! The difference is I have the Jevos to stick it out and Im not even crying ! LOL ......my offer stands till daylight cupcakes ! Get out right now with your forskin ! Cause thats all you got ! And if you dont Caz will have your donkey in the morning ! And by afternoon you will receive a good old fashion "East Texas Stump Breaking !" Just like Deliverance ! Cause now you have ticked me off again !

You clearly said that your oil stocks account for 1% of my dinar holdings. I clearly stated I hold 5 million dinar @$1100 per mil. That is $5,500 I paid. That makes your oil stock holdings roughly worth $500,000, or did you flunk 2nd grade math?

My math was impeccable. As is my logic. Come jump in on the winning side boys. Drop your big "RV" dreams and hold on to your dinars for the long haul. The water feels just fine. Ps, Tex, the latest report has oil remaining in the 30's or going even lower over the next couple years. Good luck on your oil stocks.......hopefully your dinars will save you.

Dude seriously? oil has a much better chance of rising than the Dinar has in raising value.....personally I would rather be holding oil stocks/rig leases than dinars

You are missing my somewhat sarcastic point, snowglobe. I wouldn't want to be holding EITHER oil stocks or dinar right now. Unfortunately, I do hold dinar. Poor Tex has both, and he's in dire need of some good news. Maybe caz can pump him up with his/her usual cheerfulness!

Antietam we all new that you were a Lopster from the beginning ! That's why I called you out back then, way back then. I'm very surprised that the mods have let you go on this long and enough is enough ....... Surely you are here for entertainment because you are not here because you care. I'm terrible at math can't even balance a check book and I haven't even opened all of my banks statements in over a year.....who fricken cares as long as I got more money coming in than going out I'm ahead ! That's why I got CPA's and Lawyers....comprende !

And don't you see the irony in a "Negative Mathematician" ! No damn wonder your counting backwards !

Hey Tex. Having accountants and CPAs that know you are terrible at math and know you don't even check your bank balances, is a recipe for financial disaster! It is truely amazing that you have anything at all. And , as usual, you have mislabeled me once again. A "lobster" is someone who thinks the CBI is going to "lop" the zeros of the dinar. I am not a promoter of that scenario. I have always stated that making a redenomination move would create chaos in the iraq marketplace. The man on the street doesn't trust the government. So, Tex, I'll try to keep this mathematically simple for you. I believe the dinar will revalue slowly over TIME. It is a long term investment. Ask one of your many CPAs to explain this revalue phenomenon to you. I have confidence that given enough time and tutoring, you will be able to grasp what I am saying. Sorry for the sarcasm, but you brought this on with your condescending attitude.

You are the one with a condescending attitude and that makes everyone come back at you because you think your smart because you've got a long term plan with the dinar. Now If you will excuse me my very close cousin was just in a head on collision in Livingston Texas tonight.........Lifeflighted to Houston. Please send more prayers DV ! Damn what a hell of a start to my family's New Years. You know it's hard when you come from a real close family. Oh Lord ! Please watch over Tracy !
