Honestly, even if we got dirty I don't think it would come to that. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they went that route, they wrangled up the family members and made them "disappear" (in a holding facility or something of the like). 

Eh, I've been up studying calculus all night, my brains fried so I'm probably not terribly coherent. What this thread really needs is a long write up on the history of that region to give more people here some perspective. I'm just too tired to write it. Likewise, I can only offer a perspective from the Afghani side of things, because that was where I spent all my time (all 8 years in country). Wow, I'm so tired, not sure I'm even making sense. I've been impressed with your comments, considering where you live, there are not many true conservatives left.

I have family out that way, and even though they believe they are Christian, even their "church" is total progressive liberal.

They don't even see how twisted their logic has become as they balance what the Spirit is witnessing to their hearts, with daily survival.

I believed I was called to walk among them in another bastion of self-gratification, Seattle.

The problem is, the older I get, the less tolerant I am of their delusional perspective,  and their ability to ignore reality as they determinedly focus on an illusion.

My whole persona has been trying to show everyone how controlled they are, and there I went and got caught up in a process that is an illusion itself.

I viewed the POTUS election as a temporary stepping stone, believing one of the "outsiders" would be the enabler that would actively promote educating the American people.
