Ok so Iraq pulls the fifty's and issues 50k's, let's hope that they will use all of big denoms to draw in all the small denoms and then RV 1 to 1.......that will make it simple, no financial calculators needed !

This means that they are sucking in all their 25K notes to reduce their TOTAL note count in circulation.

These 50K notes will be used for Inter- Bank money transfers after they add value to the dinar.

Just exactly what Dr. Shabibi told us what would occur, many years ago.

The currency reform has just shifted into high gear.

Adding the TRUE international value comes next.

The new lower denoms will come at the same time as the new value.......

How did the people in "some Baltic states" obtain currency? Did they throw the old away because it was worthless? Did the government and banks just hand out new currency to people, maybe on streets corners, to distribute the new currency? Or was there a currency exchange: one old note for one new note within a certain time period. Or couldn't your brother figure that one out?

So from all of this.... I guess if they are putting 50,000 notes out WITH 000's.... then deleting 000's most likely wont apply to the NOTES....it might be off the current rate... so looking at .86

If these do hit the street, it's not good. Reducing note count has nothing to do with number of individual Dinar.

Iraq's largest note 25 K  has a MKT rate worth $20.40.   Their notes ( besides the ones in our closets ) are fairly short lived . A new 50 K note would extend the life of other denominations. They still have limited electronic payments available to the public so it makes perfect sense to have a larger 50 K note IMHO. This also means  IMO that our 25 K notes are safe.

 

Our largest note is worth $100.00 . Because of our core inflation we could use a larger note IMO.  Dinner and a movie for 2 will cost you $100.00 here in So Cal.  A single Disneyland ticket will cost you $100 just to get in. How about Mcdonalds? Almost ten dollars a meal. When is was a kid it was $1.00 and we still only had the $100.00 bill.

Ya makes no sense.  Pictures are important for educating the public and usually out well in advance of any new currency release.
