TQueezy
300 thousand barrels per day, right? I mean, 300 would be nothing. It takes at least that much in oil for the trucks and machinery to extract the oil each day.

TexAg91
So this says the "agreement" is in the budget. What appended to the "law"? Or will this go-around be treated differently from the one a year ago? They have been living under an agreement for almost a year now.

amal
If the budget is passed. the agreement that is in the budget would become law would it not???? Yes for the year. Which is why these articles saying they are "renewing" the oil agreement in the budget, there was an agreement in the 2015 budget as well. The hydro carbon law is a stand alone piece of legislation which is more comprehensive and wont need to be revoted on every year.
