Goforth America

Recommended Posts

The video below was compiled by a friend of mine in honor of Harris County Texas Deputy Darren Goforth.

This is how Texans honor their law enforcement officers - if you cannot make a positive comment, please go to another thread!

I will delete any cop bashing posts.

Very touching.

His wife is still in shock.

They need our prayers.

In one instant, they went from a close, happy family, to their entire existence ripped apart, hordes of reporters watching and recording their every move, and every private detail about their lives broadcast around the globe, as they are forced to live in a most intimidating fishbowl, without the one person that was their protector.

A post explaining Goforth and his son's shirts at the funeral.

The vitriol hate, and murders have to end.

Oh, geez, Texas Granny, thank you. I was in Methodist Dunn SICU waiting room, - my 2nd home these last months - and it was a room full of people quieted with respect and moved to silent tears, as we watched these services.

Awesome Granny.

For the first time in all my yrs at DV, I must confess all the cop

bashing is causing me to not wanna post. The ignorance of attacking

law enforcement is the epitome of what is wrong with this country.

I was talking with a police officer about 2:30 in the morning last

week when the subject of officer Goforth came up. We both agreed it

was a great tragedy. I informed him that not only was I armed at that

time, but that I would gladly give my life in defense of a law

enforcement officer. He shook my hand and was extremely appreciative.

So again Granny I would like to thank you for posting something

positive about law enforcement officers.

Thanks TexasGranny,  it was the most beautiful tribute to a fallen angel.  The out pouring of support was remarkable.

May his family's pain be lessen with loving memories.  :praying:

Give honor to whom honor is due.  He is certainly due the honor!

May God bless his family with grace.
