"Arab Bank" to reach a settlement with the plaintiffs Americans

New York : Arab Bank reached an amicable settlement with the plaintiffs hundreds of Americans who have to spend their last year on the rule of condemning the bank financing terrorism, according to a spokesman for the bank said Friday.


The spokesman declined to give details of the amount of the agreement, and that one of the plaintiffs' lawyer also asked back to the bank for more details.


In September 2014, a court in Brooklyn in the south of New York considered guilty to bank funding organizations such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad Annexes to the Regulations on the US terrorism.


The decision came following a complaint made by about 300 American, were victims or relatives of victims of the attack twenty signed between 2001 and 2004 in Israel and the Gaza Strip and occupied West Bank.


He is scheduled to hold a second hearing in Brooklyn next week to determine the amount of damages. Arab Bank has been forced to pay up to one billion dollars.
