WASHINGTON, DC (FOX) - More propaganda from ISIS.
 
This as President Barack Obama says there's no specific plan to take on the militants.
A new video and a new threat from ISIS.
A Twitter account associated with the group posting a clip claiming it plans to take control of Baghdad soon.
A counterterrorism source tells FOX the video is significant, showing ISIS remains steadfast in the face of efforts to beef up the U.S.-led coalition against it.
The threat comes a day after Obama said there's still no clear plan to fight the extremists.
“We don't yet have a complete strategy because it requires commitments on the part of the Iraqis as well,” Obama said.
The administration quickly coming to the president's defense with the State Department saying he was speaking about training and equipping Iraqi forces, not the overall strategy against ISIS.
But others are blasting the White House for not doing enough to defeat the militants.
“We need to develop a strategy. We need to include our neighbors and friends and allies in the Middle East and discussions. We have got to do something. We are not degrading nor destroying ISIS,” said U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst, R-IA.
ISIS propaganda also claiming that tribal leaders in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul have pledged allegiance to their group.
As coalition forces carried out nearly two dozen airstrikes against militants in Iraq and Syria.
And Iraqi fighters battle for control of Beiji, home to Iraq's largest oil refinery.
ISIS doesn't appear to be letting up.
We are now learning the terror group kidnapped dozens of Eritrean Christians in Libya, last week.
The militants beheaded Christians from Egypt and Ethiopia earlier this year.

ISIS is planning surrounding Baghdad during Ramadan and attacking immediately or shortly before the end. They will pull all terrorist groups to the battle and overwhelm the security forces. Iraq and coalition forces need to be prepared. JMO..

I would hope that they do surround Baghdad and attempt to attack with all their groups. Seeing these groups of militants usually attack without warning I find it uncharacteristic of them to call out a time and a place for an attack and provide us with a list of personnel that will be in attendance.

 

We will be waiting as the lambs come to the slaughter.
