President of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, Massoud Barzani

(IraqiNews.com) President of Kurdistan Massoud Barzani stated on Wednesday, that his visit to the United States and a number of European countries have achieved more than expected, noting that many countries have the same attitude shown by Hungary in support of the independence of Kurdistan.

Barzani said in press statements in the Czech capital Prague that in their visits, he and his accompanying delegation had achieved more than expected to Kurdistan

Barzani added, “A lot of countries have the same attitude shown by Hungary, whose PM declared its support for the independence of the region of Kurdistan.”

‘Many countries support the right of self-determination for the people of Kurdistan and to decide their own future for themselves,” he continued.

Barzani, who is currently on a visit to the Czech Republic, stressed that, “The Czech Republic and Slovakia experience has shown that any union by force will not be successful.”

Seems to me that KRG wants to be totally separate from the GOI. So what does the HCL mean anyway? Nothing to the Kurds it seems. Looks like they strike deals with the US as independent entities. First Albadi goes to Washington, then Barzani goes to Washington. Why is the US dealing with two different governments within the same country?

The KRG wants their own currency.

The GOI wants their own currency.

The CBI wants to control the IQD.

Seems if these guys don't become uniform in one Government, our IQD investment may just evaporate right in front of our eyes.

Hungary unhinged from the Rothschild banking cartel a couple years ago. They have no debt, and sovereignty over their currency. The IMF was kindly asked to scram. :)

I didn't know that justchecking123. Seems to me that the KRG has been running pretty well as an independent government for years.

Good thing they are using the IQD like the rest of Iraq. (At least for now.) Here is a link you might find interesting.

The currency of Iraqi Kurdistan is the Iraqi Dinar, the same currency that is used throughout the rest of Iraq.
