Most major accidents and events are BS and made up using actors and the media.  You are right, this is tied to the defunding of Amtrak.  Remember the train blowing up in CARBON, WV?  That coincided with the veto of the Keystone Pipeline.  They are just doing what is on the predetermined plan.

The USPS is about the only mandated government agency in the Constitution. As such, I fully support it even if it loses money.

I'm all for the funding of needed repair and infrastructure.  But this crash was NOT because of lack of funding.  It was due to the excessive speed of the train.  This is a personnel problem.  The engineer INCREASED the trains speed shortly before going into the 50 mile an hour turn.  

It is shameful for the democrats to use this as a political wedge to divide the country further.  The Amtrak disaster that caused the death of 8 people had no connection with funding.  What a bunch of junk coming out of the politician's mouth.
