Memorial to Michael Brown

In Ferguson, MO, someone planted a little tree and put a stone next to it dedicating the tree to Michael Brown. The very  next day, when they went back there, the tree was chopped down and the memorial stone was missing.

This is very sad.     What kind of person does that?

...words from friends, neighbors, acquaintances, family members, business owners, reporters used to describe:

 

 ...hood, thug, vandal, dope head, arrogant, disrespectful, foul-mouthed,

drop-out, agitator, smug, violent, law-breaker, criminal assaulter, cop-hater...

 

... the actions of a person who carries these descriptions about him are bound to cause him to wind up as he did.

 

...dead.

 

 

But if someone went to the trouble to mark a small memorial for whatever part of him may have still been good and decent,

no one had the right to destroy it....

 

UNLESS:

 

 ... it was placed on private property without permission...

 

..or on public property without legal authority.
