k98nights Posted May 30, 2010 Report Share Posted May 30, 2010 Iraq wins seats of membership in Arab Union for Land TransportSunday, May 30th 2010 7:26 PMNajaf, May 30 (AKnews) - The Media Director of the Iraqi Transport Ministry said Sunday that the ministry had obtained two seats in the Arab League's Arab Land Transport Union.Osama Sadr, the manager of the general company for transporting passengers and delegations, and Abdullah Al-Laibi, the general manager of the special transport company have won memberships of the Aab Land Transport Union in the elections that took place during a meeting in Syrian capital, Damascus, for a session that will last for four years, Aqil Kawthar said.The meeting unanimously decided to hold the next general assembly of the union in Baghdad by the end of 2011.Arab Land Transport Union is an Arab board specializing in the developing, regulating and integrating the land transport sector in the Arab world in order to coordinate the efforts of members and provide them with assistance to develop land transportation in terms of raising efficiency in the future and expand its activity base.sa/ry (AKnews)http://www.aknews.com/en/aknews/2/150530/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
