McCain to Obama: 'Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President' and focus on ISIS

Feb. 5, 2015: Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., speaks on Capitol Hill in Washington. (AP)

Sen. John McCain said Sunday that President Obama is letting his personal issues with newly re-elected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affect his decision-making and shared policy goals.

“It’s time that we work together with our Israeli friends and try to stem the tide of ISIS and Iranian movement throughout the region, which is threatening the very fabric of the region,” McCain, R-Ariz.,  said on CNN's “State of the Union.”

During the interview, McCain called out Obama and told him: “Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President.”

McCain went on to admonish the administration’s Middle East policies and said Obama’s priorities are “so screwed up that it’s unbelievable.” He added that he was “convinced” Obama was letting his personal feelings get in the way.

McCain added that Israel is the only nation in the region “where there was a free and fair democratic election” and told and said “the least of your problems is what Bibi Netanyahu said during an election campaign.”

McCain added that “Bibi’s rhetoric concerning an election campaign pales in comparison to the direct threat to the United States of America of ISIS.

“But the point is, is the J.V., as the president described them, is just moving over into Yemen.  We see this horrible situation in Libya.  We see ISIS everywhere in the world,” he said.

Democratic Rep. Steve Israel, also a guest on the show, suggested everyone drop the drama and get back to the fundamentals.

“What counts is, are we providing Israel with the critical security equipment technology that they need? And on that, we are,” he said.

Israeli President Reuven Rivlin said Sunday that the new Israeli government will have to serve "all the citizens of Israel," and called for the country to begin a "healing process" after a stormy election campaign that highlighted deep internal divisions.

In a last-ditch attempt to spur his supporters to the polls last week, Netanyahu warned that Arab citizens were voting "in droves" and endangering years of rule by his right-wing Likud Party. The comments drew accusations of racism from Israeli Arabs and a White House rebuke.

Alluding to the uproar, Rivlin told Likud representatives that the emerging government will have to serve "all the citizens of Israel, Jews and Arabs."

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

McCain needs to get over the election of 2008

He is the very one who wanted to arm ISIS in Syria and called them the opposition

A lot of time and effort has been put forward on a two state solution going back to Reagan Bush Clinton

Netanyahu just cannot blow smoke whenever it is suitable for him

sorry mccain but the people are not that easily manipulated.  information i've have gotten from arabs who know the region has said that the Libya situation was not ISIS at all but an opportunity for France and Libyan government to work together against Gaddafi's old guard that was tagged "ISIS" for political reasons.  it is funny because now as i pay closer attention to the words used by news reporters, i notice they are using terms like "alleged ISIS" and "ISIS sympathizers" and additional terms as they use sideways speech for whatever the agenda might be.  the truth beginning to surface is that many of these extremists groups functioning in the ME, existing well before the ISIS threat began, are not ISIS at all but are being slapped with the ISIS tag similar to the campaign that they ran with "The War on Terror".

these people never cease to amaze me on how they can use words to create the perfect situation to fit their agendas.  truly never ceases to amaze me....

If anyone is truly interested, i earnestly suggest reading this article slowly and carefully for what it is really saying about the Libya-Egypt-France-ISIS incident taken place after the beheading of Egyptian Christians.  i am not stirring up the conspiracy pot but just saying it is time for us to recognize that everybody has their own agendas and it is usually not conspicuously voiced by main stream media.

Here is an excerpt (pay close attention):

The Obama administration was given multiple chances Wednesday to endorse a longtime ally’s airstrikes on America’s biggest enemy at the moment, the so-called Islamic State. Over and over again, Obama’s aides declined to back Egypt’s military operation against ISIS. It’s another sign of the growing strain between the United States and Egypt, once one of its closest friends in the Middle East.

Egypt did not inform the United States, its longtime ally, before the operation. And the United States stopped far short of backing Egypt’s effort. Rather, the U.S. called for a political solution in Libya, which is divided between two rival governments, each backed by different militias. Egypt’s call Wednesday for the United Nations to create a naval blockade to stop weapons transport to Libya was met with relative silence by the United States. And at the Pentagon, the military campaign against ISIS remains centered on Iraq and Syria

Yeah there has, but they have NO RIGHT to split God's land.  The Arabs/Palestinians have been offered a larger piece of land by Egypt.  You know it will happen but it will be hell to pay once that land is split.  The negotiators on the side of the Arabs/Palestinians "refuse" to accept Israel as a state.  They won't recognize it "ever", as does the whole middle east.  So, it will take a most cordial, most convincing peaceful man to make this deal to ever get the Arabs/Palestinians to recognize Israel as a state and the borders happen to be a death trap if you go back to 67 borders.  I look for Israel to gain more land and the Arabs/Palestinians to get their state, and all will be fine and dandy for 3 and 1/2 years until this wonderful freak betrays them.  Then, it's on!
