After all these years i still have trouble with the search function here at DV Kurdistan alliance: New talks between Baghdad and Erbil to settle oil disputes Sunday, 01 March 2015 13:46 Shafaq News / Kurdistan Alliance revealed on Sunday, a new round of talks that will resume between Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government to settle disagreement relating to oil. A member of the bloc, Kaweh Mohammad told “Shafaq News", that "The talks between the federal governments and Kurdistan Regional Government will soon resume in order to reach a settlement to the outstanding problems concerning the implementation of the terms of the oil agreement signed recently." Mohammed who is a member in the oil and energy parliamentary committee added that " basic contention point is concerning the issue of the federal government control over oil exports from the region identified by the Baghdad monthly while the region requested to be every 3 months to allow it to adhere to export the agreed amount of oil." Mohammed confirmed that "the region is cant be committed now on a daily basis to export 550 000 barrels of oil in the presence of technical problems related to weather and other conditions that may hinder the export."
