Mammaw it looks like the Budget will be published according to how the funds are allocated which is per month (not all at one time) which represent the 12/1 x 12 for the representation of each month... The reason is so follow up on allocations to ensure proper management funds and to  prevent corruption...and to ensure monies are doing what they were designated to do....and GM  B)

It means don't hold your breathe or EVER get worked up thinking Iraq will raise the value of their currency. No matter what ANYONE says. I'm serious. It's a game.

If they do one day and the notes we hold are still acceptable... Good. BUT DO NOT count on it.

The "passing of the budget" has been a "key" to the "RV" for YEARS... Which has always been a crock... and some talk about this elusive "HCL"... and once that goes we'll see a return on our "investment".

Hahahaha... We'll see about that.

Truth is, NO ONE knows. Period.

And them's the #facts ...

It's like a casino... Only bring what you can afford to lose. Hopefully not your mind.

They will get around to it Alex, as soon the i's have all been dotted and the t's crossed. Unlike our US govt where they submit very important bills before Congress that all get agreed upon and signed off, with all of that other junk attached to them that is rarely even looked at..... I wish the stuff our guys did was reviewed as carefully. We would not be in the mess we are in today most likely.... These guys are the Ben Franklins, Thomas Jeffersons, and John Adams of Iraq. I say let them do what they see they need to do.... imho

Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani, who recently returned from Dubai where he attended a Government Summit, spoke in a wide ranging interview with Rudaw about the visit, an agreement with Baghdad on oil and budget cooperation, the war with ISIS and Erbil's support for the Kurdish struggle in Syia. Here is the full transcript of his comments: Rudaw: You were recently in Dubai to attend the Government Summit that discussed the United Arab Emirates' vision for the next 50 years. What can the Kurds learn from such a summit? Nechirvan Barzani: We attended the summit at the invitation of the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Undoubtedly, for us in the Kurdistan Region it was an opportunity to learn from the experience of these countries. They have had more or less similar experiences to ours in the past and they have progressed in many aspects. Members of my cabinet and I attended the different panels of the summit and I am hoping that we could emulate the positive aspects of their progress in Kurdistan. On the sidelines of the summit we had formal political meetings with UAE officials, including President Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the foreign minister, with whom we discussed the current situation of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. We have old and solid relations between the Kurdistan Region and UAE. We have sizeable trade ties and the UAE is investing in Kurdistan. Trade between Kurdistan and UAE were part of our discussions with them.

Alex38 don't want to (and will not get into) a p---ing contest but I am curious. If that is your mind set WHY are you here?

People here may seem (to you) foolish and dreamers, but so were the Wright brothers, Bell, Edison, Gates and Jobs.

Why bring your vitriol into are area where people are (mostly) positive & hopeful.

How dare you stomp on that?

You may want to look at Yota's great tagline...Attitudes are contagious, is yours worth catching.

Well said , and I agree, I'm not quite sure about some of these folks agenda, or maybe it is something  from there childhood ? who knows , maybe as a child they were disappointed so many times that now as adults they get some sorta crazy twisted enjoyment out of trying to kill hope for others...............I personally can afford to wait forever, the reason I have dinar is not even for me but for what i would like to do for others.........what people need to understand there are many many folks on this board and others that are in dire straits and find themselves in destitute situations, .......really the only thing they have is "HOPE",why the hell would any sane person enjoy stripping them of all they have ?.....hell the "HOPE" is all that buys them another day of being able to with stand the misery life has dealt them.......anyone that does this intentionally only to get some joy from it is sick in my book.
