Are ‘Blood Moons’ a Prophetic Sign From God That Something Major Is About to Happen in the Middle East? Preacher Reveals His Latest Exploration

 

 

Pastor John Hagee, author of the book “Four Blood Moons: Something Is About to Change,” which details a “rare lunar phenomenon” that he believes could be God’s way of sending prophetic signs to humanity, is preparing for the release of a one-night only documentary that will further explore the heavenly dynamic on the big screen.

 

The film, like the book, will center on a rare series of four total lunar eclipses — also known as “blood moons” — that have occurred over two-year periods on Jewish holidays over the past 500 years. Hagee told TheBlaze in a past interview that the dates during which these tetrads fell always involved world events that began with “tears” and ended in “triumph” for the Jewish people.

 

With a series of four blood moons landing on Jewish holidays again in 2014 and 2015, Hagee believes that it’s important to focus on these lunar events, named for the reddish color that results when the Earth comes between the sun and moon.

 

“The heavens are ‘God’s billboard.’ He’s been sending signals to earth, and we haven’t been picking them up,” Hagee said in  a statement announcing the documentary. “Two blood moons, in 2014 and 2015, point to dramatic events in the Middle East and, as a result, changes in the whole world.”

 

“Four Blood Moons” will explore history, science and the Bible, detailing the three historical tetrads — which each began in 1493, 1948 and 1967 — that Hagee believes held significance for the Jewish people, while bringing in religious scholars and historians to explore the pastor’s theory. Radio host Dennis Prager, historian David Barton and author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza will be among them, according to a press release.

 

“Only three times in the past 500 years have four blood moons (or tetrads) occurred back to back and on major Jewish holy days. The fourth tetrad began April 15, 2014, on Passover,” the statement explains. “In October last year, the second blood moon appeared on the Feast of Tabernacles (also known as Sukkot). Blood moons in 2015 land on the same holy days.”

When one looks carefully at the ultimate results of the first three tetrads, an interesting pattern emerges:  The emphasis in the resulting gains for Israel in each successive tetrad becomes more precisely focused geographically.  In the first there was the gain a place of protection for the Jewish people of the whole world.  In the second, they get their own nation.  In the third they take control of Jerusalem, the eternal city.  If the pattern holds, the focal point this year may be the Temple Mount.  One has to wonder whether some soon-coming conflict will result in some way in the expulsion of the Muslims from the ground on which Solomon built the first Temple!

Pope will address Congress in September

It will be the first time the head of the Roman Catholic Church has addressed a joint session.

Pope Francis will address a joint session of Congress on Sept. 24, the first time the head of the Roman Catholic Church will have addressed the body.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), himself a Catholic, made the announcement Thursday morning.

 

 

“That day, His Holiness will be the first pope in our history to address a joint session of Congress,” Boehner said at his weekly news conference. “We’re humbled that the Holy Father has accepted our invitation and certainly look forward to receiving his message on behalf of the American people.”

 

The news got a quick bipartisan welcome Thursday — unlike the political rancor stirred by next month’s scheduled joint address by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

 

“We are honored and overjoyed that Pope Francis, the first pontiff born in the Americas, has accepted our invitation to address a Joint Meeting of Congress during his upcoming visit to the United States,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said of the Argentinian-born pope. She added, “We are eager to welcome His Holiness to the U.S. Capitol and we look forward to hearing his call to live our values, to protect the poor and the needy, and to promote peace.”

“I am very much looking forward to welcoming Pope Francis to the United States later this year,” President Barack Obama said at a prayer breakfast Thursday.

 

Boehner’s office says it did not coordinate with the White House when the speaker invited the pope last year. It told the administration of the visit only this morning — which is also when Boehner told reporters.

 

But in terms of protocol, the Netanyahu visit presented a much different situation given that Boehner had given the administration no advanced notice that he was inviting the Israeli leader to come to the U.S. and speak to Congress. In contrast, the Vatican confirmed last fall that Pope Francis will visit the U.S. in September, and he said last month that his swing would include a stop in Washington.

 

“Certainly the president and the team here was aware of the pope’s intent to travel to the United States, intent to spend some time in Washington, D.C.,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Thursday.

Earnest said he anticipates Vice President Joe Biden will attend the pope’s speech. But when asked if he could say the same about Netanyahu’s address, Earnest he said he could not — Biden’s schedule for March is still in up the air.

I believe the seven seals are being opened, not sure how many are opened, but believe it's happening. Look at all the earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, floods, drought, man made disasters like Chernobyl, Fukushima, etc.

Completely agree here. Very interseting stuff when you get into it. The blood moons all fall on Holy days, Passover and Sukkot. We are also in the year of the Schemetah until Sept. so, all of these things coinciding could be a revealing time. We'll just have to watch and see what happens. So much going on right now spiritually for our world. With the leaders of our nations making LOTS of foolish decisions, ongoing wars and more brewing, evil being made good and good evil litterally right in front of our faces, false prophets/doctrines, the spirit of error in todays churches, and so much more that I won't get into right now... It at least seems that this should be a time of preperation (as in both spiritually and physically) if nothing else.

 

We are told very clearly that that there would be signs of the end times and for us to pay attention. YHWH has always provided his children with signs. The moon and the sun are only a couple of things that YHWH uses to present us with signs and it really puzzles me that people don't keep that in mind so much. Not that you should be some fanatical locked in the basement and freaking out over any of these things... We have NO fear but that of the Father... The point is that we just need to be paying attention and many just are not.

 

I know that for myself, no weapon formed against me will prosper and that YHWH provides me protection, guidence and wisdom.
