Integrity Commission announced, Sunday, foiled an attempt to smuggle 580 million out of the country through the Trebil border.

The authority said in a statement, received for News Agency (et) copy of "The detachments inspector's office in the Ministry of Finance managed and under a court order and in cooperation with the customs authorities to adjust the 580 million dinars was prepared for smuggling across the Trebil border."

She added that "the rapid movement of the office was based on information from the supreme bodies in the Iraqi state, which resulted in the truck used in the smuggling operation set with the driver and the person accompanying the funds contraband."

The agency said that "the defendants stalks to the judicial authorities, accompanied by excreta Rea (smuggled money and the truck used in the smuggling operation) to record their statements judicially."

He was general manager of the Integrity Commission spokesman Jassim stressed, in (January 7, 2015), that the body is able within the international convention against corruption to recover the amounts looted from Iraq abroad, pointing out that Iraq was able to recover some of them.

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, the Integrity Commission announced it managed to foil an attempt to smuggle 580 million out of the country through the Trebil border.

The Commission said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The sub-units of General Inspector Office in the Ministry of Finance managed, under a court order and in cooperation with the Customs Authorities, to frame 580 million dinars prepared for smuggling across the Trebil border.”

It added, “The Office’s rapid move was based on information from supreme bodies in the Iraqi state, which resulted in framing a truck used in the smuggling operation with the driver and the person accompanying the contraband funds.”

The Commission stated that the defendants were taken to the judicial authorities, accompanied by criminal evidence (smuggled money and the truck used in the smuggling operation) to record their statements judicially.”

• Plants and plant products will require permission from the Ministry Of Trade.
• Countries which have suffered outbreaks of bird flu cannot import fowl or poultry products into the country without permission
• Any dogs, cats and other pets will have to be cleared by the Iraq live animal desk before being granted permission into the country. All pets will need an Iraq International Health Certificate confirming that the animal is clean of any contagious diseases and a vaccination against Rabies.

Notice the amount of Dinar allowed in and out of the country? 5 Dinar wouldn't get you much, I don't know when it changed, a friend of mine said it used to be 10,000, but I honestly don't know and can't verify that.
