If they really wanted to be fair, each province would pay in their barrels of oil each month (tax, if you will) then do what they want with their leftover. It is each provinces responsibility to support the Iraqi goverment and sustain it, but the rest is theirs. Like what Abadi just did with the Kurds! At the moment the most pressing business is the budget. They could spend the whole year of 2015 revamping it for next year, just sign the friggon 2015 budget off already fellas!!! Put on your big boy undies and stop whining!!!

It's to bad the oil belongs to all Iraqis even though the oil isnt located in their province , it's located in the country of

Iraq and it belongs to everyone equally and is not controlled by any province

If they do decide that the oil is controlled by the province where it's located then that should be for Basra too

And not just Cherry picked provinces in northern Iraq

I believe what they are doing is fair

All they need to do now is eliminate the corruption in every province including baghdad

That's all the polititions east west north and south , not just maliki

There's hundreds of billions of dollars missing in my opinion

Not just the 50 billion in malikis account

But an additional 250 billion in the rest of their accounts in every territory

The Sunnis are just mad cause they didn't get to steal as much as the rest

This party will pull whatever they can to delay and make Abadi look bad. If they get what they asked for then they will come up with something else about the Kurds to delay the vote even further. This is called gerrymandering. Its no secret the Kurds are not well liked will be the scapegoat for every stall tactic that this party can think of. The Kurds need to just break away from these idiots once and for all and become another Dubai, however, Dubai is a one man horse and pony show right now and the Kurds should not use that King/Prince (whatever he calls himself) as a mentor. His ideas maybe his policies and dictatorial ways definitely not.

It will not change in their culture.  There will always  be the opposition of "the other" side.  But the SOL is particularly vocal and aggressive against anyone that thinks differently from them.  They do not want the Kurds to receive any profit from the oil revenue.

I believe the budget will be passed before the end of the month.  Let's hope that the HCL is included.
