Baghdad (AIN) –Parliamentary Financial Committee asked Parliament Speakership one more week to be able to finalize the draft of the Budget Law of 2015.

MP, Abdul Aziz al-Dhalimi, stated to All Iraq News Agency "The Committee asked for one more week to settle disputes and prepare the draft for a vote." /End/

So budget it done. Glaringly obvious so what is it then? They must be waiting on some other key thing to RV and then release the budget. HCL going official? Maliki getting officially charged with crimes against humanity, embezzling, etc.? Or waiting for clear weather for Okie et al to land their ships so they don't inadvertently cause them to crash and die (what a shame that'd be eh?).

Maybe these delays are like the built-in holds in a rocket launch countdown so all systems can review and all can get in sync.

I'm in the "It's Done" column, and there are a few things in play behind the scenes. CBI manages the RI/RV so it could be announced at ANY time and then just post the budget with the new accurate rate (of course this doesn't account for rate/value fluctuation in the coming months)

I'm with Mr. Parrot. Very difficult to keep reading tea leaves and assuming every little delay is related to a revaluation. I think this thing will happen but I am over tying it to a single event. I hope I'm wrong.
