(IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, an official newspaper revealed, that two Ebola cases and 26 AIDS cases have been reported and registered in Mosul.

The Iraqi official newspaper ‘Al-Sabah’ said in its today’s issue, “Many diseases and epidemics have spread among residents of the city of Mosul,” and added, “Two Ebola and 26 HIV AIDS cases were registered.”

The newspaper quoted medical sources in the city,”These diseases moved to Nineveh by terrorists and expats from different countries, especially Africa.”

On November 21, 2014, the United Nations Security Council expressed its grave concern about the Ebola outbreak on an unprecedented scale in Africa, which poses a threat to the international peace and security, at a time when the World Health Organization announced the rise of Ebola victims to more than 6000.

Place your bets, people.

Which Guru will be the first to

proclaim that Ebola prevented the

RV from happening on New Years Day?

Hey.

That couldn't be any worse than some

of the other reasons they've claimed

over the years...

Okie's excuse from a few years back that stated an unconnected antenna on the CBI building, is still my favourite.

Good times.

Anyway, Happy New Year to all at DV.

ISIS fighters 'have contracted Ebola': World Health Organisation investigating reports militants showed up at Iraqi hospital with lethal disease

- Militants allegedly attended hospital in Mosul showing signs of disease
- WHO spokesman said they are trying to 'reach out' to officials in ISIS areas
- Disease reportedly brought to Mosul by 'terrorists from several countries'
- Extremist group said to have executed 11 Mosul doctors in past few weeks

The World Health Organisation is investigating reports that ISIS militants have been showing up at an Iraqi hospital with Ebola.

According to three media outlets an undisclosed number of militants displaying signs of the disease attended a hospital in the ISIS-held city of Mosul, 250 miles north of Baghdad.

While the reports, from Kurdish and pro-Iraqi sources, remain unconfirmed, WHO spokesman Christy Feig said the group are trying to reach out to officials in ISIS-held areas to offer help.

UN workers are currently banned from entering ISIS-controlled areas in both Iraq and Syria so it is unlikely an operation in the region could be carried out

Mosul has been under control of ISIS since June 2014 and over the past few weeks militants have reportedly executed more than a dozen doctors for refusing to treat injured fighters.

The symptoms of ebola are similar to those of other diseases including malaria and yellow fever

Mosul has been under control of ISIS since June 2014 and over the past few weeks militants have reportedly executed more than a dozen doctors for refusing to treat injured fighters.

According to a report in Iraq's pro-government newspaper, al Sabaah, the disease was brought to Mosul by 'terrorists' arriving 'from several countries' and Africa.

The symptoms of Ebola, which include nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding and bruising, are similar to those of other diseases including malaria and yellow fever meaning it could easily have have been misdiagnosed.

In addition, very few ISIS fighters are believed to have travelled up from West Africa where the Ebola outbreak originated with most coming from areas where there have been no reports of the disease.

The reports have appeared in pro-government and Kurdish media but if true it could have catastrophic implications for people in ISIS-held areas as the group is against western science and medicine.

It is not known if any of the surviving doctors in Mosul are equipped to test for Ebola or trained to treat patients and prevent the spread of the disease.

Isis mingles in the general population

Or could they be mixing up their own germ warfare and a couple numbskulls got it while mixing or growing the virus

If they think they can win anything by spreading a virus that will kill themselves along with everyone else , that's the mentality we will need to deal with

No deals

Carpet bomb them and burn off the carcuses

The disease will not be easy to get rid of

This could be very serious if true. There is no system in place out there to control it so it has the potential to spread fast.

It could affect the whole region which would put the western world at risk.

I say this not to cause panic. But again I say If True.

I have to say it and everyone can bash if they wish. But I'm okay with turning all that sand to glass before they get the technology to make us glow.. Even if it meant all dreams of R/V are gone with it. We are fools to think they won't do us if given the opportunity. Edited by idplzr
