Crappie fishing

just finished a crappie dinner

it was below zero catching them.

limit is 10, caught 17, brought home 4

it fed 2. they were awesome!

I do admit I miss ice fishin'...not the freezing my butt off part, but the delicious meals my honey would cook when I brought home some fish! Enjoy them Moose...they are more special than we give em credit for!!! ;o)

Yes sir my daughter and I caught 17 white perch on Monday along with 5 channel cats , 5 black bass and 1 giant blue gill. She did better than I it was a great day with her. Incidentally next time try this recipe out. Take your fish scale them, gut them, cut off the head and leave the rest intact. Then score your fish with a knife about an inch apart starting at the tail then work your way forward, both sides. Then take a paper towel dry them off and take Tony Chachere's  Seasoning and liberally rub into the fish and slits that you cut with the knife. Fry in peanut oil and WELLA ! Bon Appetite ! You will love this one and if you want others I've got a lot of recipes. Thanks Moose !
