The budget has 41 articles as numbered in the budget posted by thug

It runs to article 37 in sequence 1 thru 37

Then there is no article 38 and it jumps to article 39

referred the House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri, the Federal Budget Law for the year 2015 to the Finance Committee to prepare a detailed report on it at the second reading, such as to raise its the seventh of January Almqubl.oakd the House of Representatives a special meeting last Thursday, cutting the vacation legislative members, To read the draft federal budget, which relates to the Council of Ministers Law Tuesday Almadi.oukdrt budget in 2015 revenue, (b 99.801875 billion) thousand dinars, while expenditures amounted to (125 203 110 783) thousand dinars, a deficit (25,401,235,783) thousand dinars. 

According to the draft budget law, the calculation of the revenues derived for the export of crude oil has been based on the average price of $ 60 per barrel, and the rate of export of three million and 300 thousand barrels per day.

It seems to me that publishing the 2015 budget in the gazette is a major step towards what we want. I would think we IF they do this we would need a rate prior to publishing the budget.

What good is a budget with no value to the currency?

I think budget is done and Iraq can always announce the rate change in the weekend... let it go around the mountain for a few days and we exchange in January 2015...wouldn't it be nice..?

Prime Minister's suggestion of Minister of finance allocate Treasury or Treasury bonds as needed to cover benefits oil companies operating in the country that does not exceed a total of 12 billion dollars (12 billion dollars) by issuing one or multiple versions in/2015.

Article 38 could be the article that contains the rate and they are still hiding it from us till the announcement made by CBI, my guessing only

 

very possible...........no way could they afford to give the world a heads up days in advance about an increase in value of there currency.

Thanks Yota. It still baffles me why this is already in the Gazette. I have looked but can't find if they ever published a draft of one of the previous budgets. They must not anticipate Ny change......except for article 38.....whatever that might include. I did see the article about the Kurds saying no prob with the second reading.... we will see.

Wow that would really be amazing.  If all of parliament and all of the committee members could actually keep their mouths shut.

The coruption in Iraq is pretty well known. Are we to believe that they would not tell anyone about a known upcoming increase in value of the dinar. Maybe tell a family member or two?  I doubt that even parliament knows the Central Bank's time frame of the RV

 

I think you are correct Chinadawg and that they could never let the Speculators know of any future plans of their currency. It would also cause chaos in their market place.  Everyone in Iraq dumping dollars at the same time. This would surely get Yellen's attention.

 

I guess we will know soon what article 38 is.  But I really hate their definition of soon. Hopefully Article 38 has not been released for a good reason.

  BAGHDAD - December / December 27, announced a member of the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives Majida al-Tamimi, that: "The new increase in the scale of the employees' salaries will not acted within the budget of 2015, indicating that the grades will be limited to certain ministries. 

 

 

 

She said Tamimi, "The increase in salaries of employees will not be issued during the 2015 budget," indicating that "the amount will be savings for employees and the grades will be limited to the ministries of defense, interior, health, education, and she can not reveal the number of grades until full access to the budget." .

 

 

 

 They pointed out that "the amount of the budget amounted to 123 trillion dinars, by a deficit of $ 23 Trliuna," indicating that "the budget is built on the price of $ 60 per barrel of oil and by exporting 3.3 million barrels per day."

 

 

 

The House of Representatives has declared, that the Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, signed the draft financial budget bill for the next 2015, and sent it to him. Admiral ended
