Can You Pay A Layway/Option/Reserve with funds from your profits?

Recommended Posts

I had a question. Before anyone tells me options are garbage and don't buy them believe me I've never been a fan of them, I personally would much rather hold physical currency, plus personally I doubt that many if any dealers actually have the physical Dinar to back options.

That said I've recently heard some people saying that if the RV happens and they have an option tehy will be able to use their profits from the option/reserve to buy the DInar. For example if the Dinar comes out at 1:1 and they have 10 million on reserve. My thinking is you need to have the $15,000 or whatever it is to buy the Dinar you have on option. It seems some people say you can use your profits from the RV to pay that amount.

Just curiuos from anyone who has used layaways if you know how that works. I have a coworker who seems to think he doesn't need a penny in his account he'll just use his profits to buy it. I told him I don't think thats how they work.

I have done it for my education :)

I did a reserve with DT and I had to send in 10% down payment and the rest in 30 days.  I was told then, if dinar were to rv, they would have cashed my reserve and cut me a check in USD minus what I still owe them.  I never filled the order, and they sent me the amount of dinar for the money I have put as down payment.  I know another company is offering reserve and you can pay it in 6 months.  I don't know if they are sitll offering it.

With reserve, you are paying higher rate than if you were to just buy dinar cash.  I think I paid $1,200 per mil for reserve, and it's $980 per mil if you buy cash and carry :)

Be careful with options/reserves for this reason: Say that you were the "dealer" and you had 100 people or groups of people that owned 50 million Dinar each. That is 5 BILLION Dinar the dealer is holding on reserve/option. Now tell me, if you were that dealer, would you honor that option to those clients if it RV's at $1.00 or even $0.10..... that's a LOT of moolah to be giving up in my estimation. Sure, they would try to come after you, but with $500 million or $5 Billion. one could hide ANYWHERE  for as long as necessary and with an army of security guys for protection. JMHO.

You make a good point whether its Dinar or precious metals I'd always prefer to hold it myself than get a certificate that "may" hold it for me. My bigger concern would not be a dealer stealing my money but I wonder if dealers have enough dinar for all their options or of they oversell vs what they have. If they sell 50 billion options and only have 100 million dinar in inventory which customers get their dinar and which don't?

      Hello Everyone!
I received this email Friday May 8th, 2020.  How did they get my email and what is going on? Should I be worried?  I've never gotten an email like this before.  What in the world is going on and why are they asking for info on the dinar? Please help. tia

We are writing to ask your assistance in our continued litigation with the Federal Government. Between 2004 and 2015, there were a number of banks throughout the United States that bought and sold Iraqi Dinar. If you have knowledge about banks (large, regional or community banks) that sold Iraqi Dinar to their customers please reply via email to tyrhame@sterlingcurrencygroup.com and answer these questions:
      1. Were you aware of any banks that bought and sold Iraqi Dinar, if so, what bank(s)? a. If so, during what time period did the bank sell or purchase dinars? b. Do you recall approximately what the buy or sell price was? c. Can you please share any documents regarding the sale? 2. Did you ever purchase Iraqi Dinar from a bank, if so, what bank(s)? a. If so, do you remember the approximate price you paid for the Iraqi Dinar you purchased? b. Was there a reason that you later (or previously) purchased Iraqi Dinar from Sterling Currency? 3. Did you plan to exchange Iraqi Dinar at a bank if the revaluation had occurred?

We would appreciate as much detail, receipts and documents as you are comfortable sharing. Thanks again for your continued support.

      DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. —
The FBI raided a DeKalb County home and business Wednesday morning.
Our cameras were rolling at a currency exchange company on Buford Highway and a house on East Brookhaven Drive as agents removed boxes of evidence.
FBI agents, along with the Brookhaven Police Department, descended on the home before 7 a.m. and stayed through the day.
We first showed you the scene on Channel 2 Action News at Noon, and again on Channel 2 Action News at 5 p.m. as agents continued to go in and out of the home.
Agents were seen taking equipment in and removing plastic gloves when exiting the home.
All day neighbors were quiet, but curious. Some took pictures of what was happening at the corner house. Neighbors tell us businessman Ty Rhame lives in the home with his wife and young child.
Neighbors said Rhame is in the foreign currency business.
Rhame's business, Sterling Currency Group, was the location of the second raid involving Brookhaven police, the FBI and U.S. Marshals.
Channel 2’s Wendy Corona saw one marshal take a sledgehammer to Rhame's 4th floor unmarked office suite at the Druid Pointe Building.
When asked to elaborate on the details behind the search warrants and what officials were gathering in the raids, the FBI sent a statement saying they are "not in a position to discuss the details of those searches at this time."

There's some guy on twitter and youtube with a channel called TNT Tony BS or something like that. Over the weekend he was tweeting and posted an audio tape of like 30 seconds in which apparently somoen who supposedly works for sterling is saying they paid TNT Tony a flat fee. there wasn't a lot of context but the person said something like I joined the company in such and such year and inherited this relationship.

Like I said there wasn't much context to the call aside from the breif clip and one persons voice was distorted mechanically or whatever.
Was just curuios if anyone else has seen this clip and if so what this is all about?

A topic I have asked a few times as well as a question I've seen others ask if whether people selling options can back them?

I believe Sterling can back theirs aside from them I personally doubt anyone can be it ebay sellers or bigger dealers.

I found this pretty interesting, found an ebay listing where the seller calls out another ebayer saying he's sold billions of dinar in options in the past month and there's no way he has millions if not billions of dollars sitting around to back all these options. Thought this was pretty interesting...

      Here's the listing....

      Here's what he says...

I can't believe people are buying options from the guy with the videos.  He's sold several billion in IQD options, there's no way he'll be able to deliver in the case of an RV.  Please consider that fact when purchasing options.

I have a very limited supply of IQD to option.  In the past, I've done auctions for 1M IQD - 10M IQD, but it's easier to auction my 50M to only 2 people at once.  I imagine in the case of an RV, I'll only have to work with 2 folks to get this IQD in their hands.  I can't even imagine dealing with hundreds of customers like the guy selling options on here with the videos.

Looks like these sellers are going to war over our business lol.

I'm not a fan of options but have some friends who are. Some ebay sellers are considerably cheaper than some of the regular dealers selling options. It seems there's only a handful of sellers selling options maybe 2 or 3.

I was just curious if anyone on here has bought from them and if so what was your experience? Is it a striaght option or do they give you some free notes with the option like sterling and some of the others so at least you have something tanginble to show for your money in addition to the option? Are their certificates professional and written in a way that it would hold up legally if it came down to it? And lastly I doubt anyone can know this for sure but anyway to know if these dealers actually have the Dinar stashed away to back these options and they are't selling thin air?

This seller above actually calls out the big option seller on ebay saying there's no way he can back all the options he's selling.

IF you bid on this auction, you understand this is for collector's purpose only.  I am not selling or giving any type of investment advice, nor am I saying an RV will happen any time soon or make you a millionaire if it does happen.  I am simply providing a vehicle for you to control 25 Million uncirculated, authentic IQD without having to for the upfront costs of $30,000+ (based on current market price).  Exercise price on the option is $1,900 per million and you have 60 days from auction end to exercise.

I only have 2 of these available, once they sell - the rights of the IQD sit with the highest bidder for 60 days beginning when the auction ends.  You MUST submit payment within 24 hours of auction end.  I will send you an right-to-buy agreement via email.  Please note my seller status when bidding.

And lastly, please go to "sold listings" on a search for "iraqi Dinar options" and see the hundreds of billions of Dinar that the video guy has optioned.  There is no way he controls that much IQD, just want to put the warning out there for everyone.

Keywords:  Dinar, Iraq, Iraqi, IQD, RV, RD

      Thanks
