BAGHDAD - ((eighth day))

The Cabinet approved on Tuesday the oil agreement between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, which provides for delivery of the Kurdistan region of at least 250 000 barrels of oil per day to the federal government for the purpose of export.

 

The prime minister, in a statement received by ((eighth day)) that "the Council of Ministers decided in its meeting held today, to approve the agreement between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, which was attended by the Prime Minister of the Federal Haider Abadi and President of the Kurdistan Regional Government Nechirvan Barzani."

 

"The agreement stipulates that the Iraqi oil belongs to all Iraqis and the Kurdistan region to hand over at least 250 000 barrels of oil per day to the federal government for the purpose of export."

 

She noted that "the agreement includes the export of 300 000 barrels per day by the federal government of the province of Kirkuk fields through the oil pipeline in the Kurdistan region of line."

 

She prime minister that "the conferees also agreed to allocate a percentage of the federal allocations ground forces of the Iraqi army to the Peshmerga forces, according to population ratio as part of the Iraqi security system."

things moving  along  very well ,,,,   thanks  for the  postings  yota !       so now  the cabinet  has  passed  the  agreement ,   has anyone  out  here  in dinarian land  know  what  will be  the next  few steps  too make  this a done  deal ?    will both of these  --- erbil  agreement  and  budget ---  have too be posted in the gazette  too be  law ?      another  question  for   our  group !      has  anyone here ,  or  better  for  words I guess ,  do  any of  you members  here   remember  what  took place  when the dinar  went from 3000  per dinar  too what the value is now ?     what I am  trying to  see , is  ,   ------> with   the  erbil agreement , budget ,  and   how  this  new  government of Iraq  is  moving along in a  huge  and  fast pace ,    will this really be  the  start   of  the  dinar  too gain values  over  1  penny  mark ... ....   does  this  movement resemble  the  first  movement  from 3000    too   1800   per  dinar   ?     thanks   guys   and gals  ........    jeep

Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi said on Tuesday, that the governments in Baghdad and Erbil plan to establish a relationship based on the Constitution and the partnership.

And Abdul-Mahdi, in a joint press conference with Deputy Prime Minister Ruz Nuri Shaways crumpled after a cabinet meeting that "the meetings will continue between the governments in Baghdad and Erbil, and the formation of joint committees to develop mechanisms for establishing true relationship is based on the Constitution in accordance with the principle of partnership and justice.

He added that the agreement was reached between the province and the federal government to hand over at least 250 000 barrels of oil per day to the federal government for the purpose of export. "

He said Abdul-Mahdi, "the agreement also includes the export of 300 000 barrels per day by the federal government of the province of Kirkuk oil fields through the pipeline in the province of Kurdistan."
