Expert: lost 10-15% of GDP for non-adoption of the budget

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN)  - revealed economist appearance of Mohammed Saleh, that the initial estimated value of the loss of Iraq for non-adoption of the budget for the current year, ranging between 10-15 %  relative to GDP .

 

Said Saleh's (IMN) , that "the deterioration of security has led Iraq to incur significant economic losses and the loss of investment opportunities, which in turn led to an increase in the unemployment rate . "

The International Monetary Fund said in a report prepared last Monday, it was likely that Iraq's economy to shrink by 2.7% this year, in the first contraction of the economy since 2003.
