Annika
Adam, please, I appreciate the research and info on our investment, but please let's leave political opinions out of this. We are in this for the money not to cast blame, and when you go on tangents based off your personal opinions it taints and pollutes the facts and we can't tell where one starts and the other ends. This isn't fox or cnn, just the facts, please, we are of diverse backgrounds in a common goal, soon this will be less dinar facts and more of people polluting your forum with bitter chats and keyboard tough PLEASE give us a Break. You're outnumbered by far. PRAY FOR REVIVAL EVERYDAY another day closer Outnumbered by what? You don't know me,or anything about me, except I want to read facts about dinars and the progress and not opinions. I couldn't care less about how anyone feels politically, they can all go jump in the ocean, but outnumbered by what? 12
shydude
Being Politicaly Correct is what has gotten us in the messes we are in today. I see people at work all day fixing mistakes insted of preventing the mistake from happening. In the bussiness world mistakes cost money; in the Political world mistakes cost lives. It seems the mintallity of today is to be reactive insted of proactive. Unfortunately when your proactive, you do not see the mess it could have been and you get the question " Why did you do that". People need to wake up and see what is happening in their neighbors' country/homes before it comes to their front door. When that happens there are no neighbors to help you. Thank You Adam for saying what is True and stating your opinion...believe me I will inform you if your telling a Lie. eburt
Thanks for the update Adam - I guest we continue to wait wait wait - I will would say that what ever happened in the past regarding if USA should have kept troops in Iraq needs to stay in the past and we need to focus on the present. Meaning ISIS needs to be blown away and ALL countries needs to get involved. Also, Iraq government needs to approve the other 2 ministers and stop dragging their feet. Also, Iraq needs to make a decision on 2014 budget getting approve. Finally - Do you think something will happen by end of 2014 and/or will we still be waiting on possible RV in 2015/2016? Again thanks for everything you do Adam and Mods
Laid Back
2 more years waiting is nothing.! In 2 years we can see: -complete Goverment -stable country -HCL -Budget Go increase exchange rate SOON Thanks for the update.!

This isn't fox or cnn, just the facts, please, we are of diverse backgrounds in a common goal, soon this will be less dinar facts and more of people polluting your forum with bitter chats and keyboard tough guys. I look forward to each Wednesday for the chats but today was too much. Welcome Annika, I am glad to see you are a VIP and OSI member and becoming more involved with sharing thoughts and posting! I believe what LGD was referring to is that the vast majority of members on DV are quite well informed and can generally recognize the difference between an opinion piece, and well recognized and supported (though often under-reported or shouted down) facts. I am not here to argue with people, nor even to necessarily change their mind. But what I do strive to do is to encourage them to gain knowledge (and perhaps even question authority). Clearly you are on a path of gaining knowledge, and I believe that is why you come to DV, particularly to be aware of your investment and hopefully the best way to manage and retain your potential (and even generational) wealth. Many people on DV are quite passionate about Constitutional values, guarantees, and Laws, and they believe they are being trampled on and discarded by the current administration. Many here seem to feel they there is more mention (blame) of President Bush 43 now (6 years into Barack Obama's term) than there was in President Bush's term. (Who knows what the story line will be once the current administration leaves in 2 more years?) I like Jon Stewart and Glen Beck, etc. as much as the next person, but there is more going on in the world than reported through most major "news" or "opinion" broadcasts in the US. It is pretty evident here on DV that the views Adam has voiced are overwhelmingly shared and supported by DV's informed membership. I believe this is what LGD was referring to. He is a man of faith and few words (and not very big ones at that). [sorry LGD, it was too easy] Just a question for you (and anyone else to ponder), why would you value Adam's research and opinion of IQD and matters in the ME, yet discount his research and reported facts (BTW, while I agree that much of what Adam shared was framed as "opinions", and he did provide a very clear disclaimer of what was to follow, I/we here on DV seem to be quite in agreement with these "opinions" and statements). Clearly there has been some dissension from Adam's position ("opinions"), and little doubt that there are other's out there who did/do not feel strongly enough to voice an opinion as you and perhaps I have. But as Adam boldly came out to state his views, beliefs, observations, speculation and "opinions" (realizing and acknowledging that it could be potentially damaging to one of his businesses and offend some members), I believe he also realized that "silence can be interpreted as acceptance", and that all it takes for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing. To that end, Adam stated some of his beliefs and opinions. The USA was founded by Patriots who stood up against oppressive government(s), risking life and all they and their families had. Many died, as did many when the USA suffered an enormous Civil War 150+/- years ago because in part it is a country with varying views and "opinions". Yet the USA is still the most sought country to immigrate to (not from, other than those who now are forced to seek economic freedoms elsewhere). Not unlike the Founding Fathers we have Patriots here who seek a better life for ourselves and family. Barack Obama does not share the belief of American exceptionalism, and seeks to change the country towards his failed vision (read his book). Read what the world views on the USA and Barack Obama is (not the US press). Just last week I watched Barack Obama address the US stating that "Nobody can deny that the US is better off now than people were 6 years ago". - Now THAT was an "Opinion", and absolutely not supported by economic or geo-political facts, and NO dissension is allowed or tolerated. I contrast Barack Obama's statement with what Margaret Thatcher expressed years ago "The problem with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money to spend". I ask you (and anyone else who may have cared to read this far), which of the above statements more accurately describes the current situation in the USA? I am glad you (and everyone else) comes here to learn about IQD, the ME, and your/our investment(s). Perhaps you will learn something more than you expected? It would appear to me that at least some small part of every reader/member here on DV has at least some discontentment with the current situation in the US (or the country they reside in), or they would simply wait for an RI/RV to be announced in the news, and then head down to the local bank or currency exchange, and cash-in leaving potentially 50%+/- behind, simply to pay fees and taxes that someone else believes was fair to receive from your/their risk and investment. If I sound like I am waiving the US flag, I AM. PROUDLY.
gregg450
Nobody in office is immune. They are all liars and cheats. I am sure somewhere in some urban dictionary, (especially after this post), if you look up State or National Political Career it would say.....the art of existing in deception and self sufficiency due to the leaching of others resources. This would hold true to virtually all who claim this title. Just sayin. I think government is too big and too much of a problem. I don't need anyone telling me when I can S---t Edited October 15, 2014 by gregg450

wbuse984
Adam, Excellent chat today...appreciate it very much... Caye98: Awesome response, as a retired military veteran and someone who was brought up to believe in American Exceptionalism (not perfect by any means) and to be Patriotic I appreciate your words, Adams opinions and observations as well as LGD, DT quip's, et al...proud to have served for those who believe as I do about our great country, but yet also proud to have served to for those of differing opinions too (like that socialism works, it does not and is "Unamerican"...that is what lends itself to American Exceptionalism...freedom of expression, every has the right to be wrong, just don't harm anyone in the process. My opinion is that many Americans have lost their way in regards to what our country is really about, why can't we all be just Americans (and kick the criminal ill-legal aliens out as well, they are not Americans but law-breakers). Too many in American society at large as well as the imbeciles in Washington and about 50 state capitols, simply lack wisdom. Yak...my rant sucks compared to Adam and Caye, but what do I know...think I'll go Elk hunting in Colorado tomorrow...lol...

yota691
I said this before and I'll say it again - Obama screwed up when he pulled the troops. It was NOT Obama's call. BUSH made Iraq a SOVEREIGN NATION and BUSH signed the agreement withdrawing the troops. Bush didn't make Iraq a SOVEREIGN NATION...Its the First Sentence: in the Iraq Constitution.....Lets Get it Right..... SECTION ONE: FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES Article 1: (The Republic of Iraq is a single, independent federal state with full sovereignty. Its system of government is republican, representative 61/27Parliamentary63/47 and democratic. This Constitution is the guarantor of its unity)
SherryB
Just want to say, back when getting the troops out of Iraq was a milestone, RV couldn't happen without it. All seemed to be thinking it was a good thing, and it should have been, except Maliki had his own agenda, and that in my opinion is the biggest reason Iraq is faced with the problems it has today. Who woulda thought it!
Adam Montana
Lots of good discussion around these parts today... I like it! If I sound like I am waiving the US flag, I AM. PROUDLY. Cheers, friend. I wave it as well, and I suddenly realize that I could express that more often. I love my country, truly sincerely and deeply. But my government... not so much. (Great post in many ways above and beyond that part! That was just the easiest bit to acknowledge without getting long winded... apparently that's what Wednesday mornings are for lately ) 12

Well, Adam did just that, he gave you facts about why this Dinar RV hasn't happened and that was because of the political stand that Obama took in removing our troops and really screwing up the possibility of a stable government which would result in a possible RV. Now you can see that it is almost impossible to keep politics out of this forum if you want to hear facts about the dinar and an RV. 4
