The court decision didn't show anyone that the Kurds can do anything

The court says it can't seize the ships contents if it enters us waters because its not a violation of maritime law , but they said its a comercial problem

So it gave Iraq 10 days to amend its case

And they didn't waste to much time

Iraq to Appeal US Court Decision on Disputed Kurdish Oil

http://m.voanews.com/a/reu-iraq-to-appeal-us-court-decision-on-disputed-kurdish-oil/2431074.html

On Monday, a U.S. district court ruled in favor of a request by Iraq's Kurdish region that a demand by the Iraqi government for U.S. authorities to seize the Kurdish oil shipment be scrapped. However, the court gave Baghdad 10 days to resubmit its case.

“The ministry of oil is emphasizing that it is preparing the amended request and will forward it in the required period,” the oil ministry said in a statement.

“The decision of the court is only to lift the seizure of the shipment while at sea. Therefore they referred to American maritime law. This doesn't exempt [the oil] from any seizure decision when it arrives on American soil.”

The Kurds better be able to prove ownership of their oil , which they can't export anything from Iraq without approval including oil

It's not the Kurds who are members of the United Nations , Iraq is , and Iraq federal govt makes international trade policy for Iraq no one else can do that

The Kurds are eventually going to be prosecuted and someone will be sitting in a jail cell on smuggling charges

Any documentation of proof of ownership will be treated as counterfeiting unless it has the Iraq seal on it

It just a matter of time

Maybe this is why the Kurds are stalling the new govt and the last govt

I'm sure they will run away out of the country like the rest of them that come up on charges

DL,

While I agree that the Kurds aren't as innocent and good as most here wish to believe.

They do have the bulk of the best crude in their province. And with Little Joey constantly

saying Iraq should be broken into three nations, this event is forcing Baghdad's hand.

If the Kurds finally get total permission to sell the oil, they will separate from Iraq.

I believe that Little Joey has only been saying what he has to pressure Baghdad.

In the end it's anyone's guess who will win. Yes it's Iraqi OIL, nevertheless, in the end

If Baghdad stalls much longer; thereby causing a permanent delay;the world will do

WHATEVER it takes to buy that oil.

PRAY FOR REVIVAL EVERYDAY

"

However, the statement, "but unfortunately it has refrained Ministry of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan region to attend the meetings of the Federal Court, ignoring repeated calls from the court to decide the case, which is inconsistent with the claims of the region that exported oil is a constitutional right, as it claims to really have to prove in front of the The only authorized to do so, a Federal Court. "

The tanker moored United Kalaverwta carrying Kurdish oil worth about 100 million dollars near the Texas weeks ago, as fighting a legal battle Kurdistan region over the ownership of the oil with the federal government of Iraq.
