Here is the abbreviated version for those who choose not to listen to the sermon in it's entirety.

 

The Bible commands obedience to the government (Rom. 13-1; Titus 3:1; 1 Peter 2:13), but civil disobedience is just when the government attempts to compel unrighteousness (Exodus 5; Dan. 3,6; Revelation 13).  The case of the Hebrew midwives (Exodus 1) who lied to save the lives of the male children, is perhaps the clearest example.

 

The above is the Christian and moral foundation to resist the governments attempt to compel Christians to provide abortion pharmaceuticals to employees through the ACA.

 

There are many laws and government dictates todays Christian has the moral authority to resist.

there is quite a bit of more detail in what is considered government that is of God, and those that are not.  example would be that Hitler was not a minister of God, nor is obama, everything he stands for is against our God, so he cannot be a minister of God. thanks

we are not commanded to submit to evil governments.
