Assistant Secretary of U.S. State: Washington working to remove Iraq from Chapter VII

Michael Corbin, Deputy Assistant U.S. Secretary of State said Thursday that Washington was working very seriously with international communities and the United Nations in New York to get Iraq out of Chapter VII sanctions since it results from the previous regime.

Corbin said in a joint news conference with the governor of Nineveh to his country's support for the political process and the formation of the new government to build good relations with neighboring countries and we have development programs with our Iraqi counterparts to the problem of the border.
