Hillarious on Gun Advocates: We Cannot Let a Minority of People Terrorize Others June 17, 2014

During Hillarious Clinton’s CNN town hall event, she made a comment that will most likely outrage gun rights advocates – she says they are “terrorizing” people because of their viewpoint. This is a new low in the gun control debate – she didn’t cite statistics, she didn’t make an argument, she just seemed to refer to those who disagree with her as some kind of terrorists.

Guess that makes those who declared our Constitutional right to bear arms non-negotiable the original “terrorists,” amirite, Hill?

Oops, Hillarious Flubs At Trying To Play Gun Control Expert While Calling For New Gun Bans

At a CNN town hall event on Tuesday, former Secretary of State and possible 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillarious Clinton argued for gun control. She called for a ban on high capacity magazines and on so-called assault rifles, which are semi-automatic rifles that have a more tactical appearance.

However, Hillarious appears to have made a mistake when she went further. She appears to have confused the definitions of “automatic” and “semi-automatic” firearms.

Here’s a helpful guide on firearms: Semi-automatic firearms only fire one bullet every time you pull the trigger, regardless of what kind of scary features you put on the firearm. Automatic firearms fire more than one bullet when you pull the trigger, and they have been tightly regulated since 1934.

Clinton, thought to be a likely 2016 presidential candidate, then made a glaring error when making an emotional plea to promote gun control.

She said she couldn’t understand how an individual could walk into a school with an “automatic weapon” and “murder innocent children, students, teachers.” In fact, automatic weapons are highly regulated and very difficult to acquire. It is likely the former first lady was actually referring to semi-automatic weapons.

She referred to “automatic weapons” for a second time later during the town hall, saying they can do more damage than ever before. There have been two homicides committed with legally owned fully automatic weapons since 1934, according to GunCite.com.

If you don’t know what kind of firearms you want to ban, you probably shouldn’t be calling for new gun bans.
