Waiting to buy more Dinar

Recommended Posts

With what is going on in Iraq I do not think this is going down anytime soon.  This is just my opinion.  People say sell but after 6 years I ask myself why would I at this point.  I am actually looking forward to the Dinar falling back to $600 USD per million or lower to buy some more.  Might as well hedge this bet.

I dont see rates getting any worse short of iraq falling into civil war and the country dissolving into nothing and it going to 0. I can see all this chaos being good or bad. Maybe its bad but maybe we have to interfere everyone relaizes they have a weak leader and need someone else and with our backing things continue to progress. Only time will tell tho

They moved the reserves out of Iraq

The value of the dinar is guarenteed at 1166 from the central bank of Iraq

It can't change it's pegged to the dollar at that exchange rate

The only way it can change is if the Iraqi govt decided to print up more dinar with out adding to the reserves

And they have a surplus of reserves right now too so I wouldn't be to concerned with the dinar losing value

All that dinar does is circulate in Iraq

It can't change

No external debts are paid in dinar

Its pegged to the dollar but the CBI can change the rate, Heck thats why we are in this.

If the Kurds split it will not be good. Hopefully lies about their own currency being printed.

Nothing good about what is going on right now in Iraq. Nothing at all.

Question is how much are we willing to get stuck with?

investing in that crazy country was probably a mistake in the first place

Time will tell
