Shia Cleric al-Sistani Sends Recommendation To Tehran for the New Leader of Iraq

The Shia Cleric Ali Sistani has given his recommendation to lead the next Iraq government.  The Shia Cleric recommended the leader of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI) Ammar al-Hakim. Al-Sistani sent a letter to the Tehran government advising them that al-Sadr, had formed the largest coalition along with the Sunni and Kurdish political blocs. There has been no response as of yet to Al-Sistani’s letter to Tehran. I will keep you posted on further developments.
