jobug38
My fiancée who is a Vet Nam vet passed away March 12,2014. I miss him so much he was the first man that ever got me,but I have to be strong. The Lord blessed me with the fact he let Sid enter into my life to bring me such happness for 6 years. I just wanted to say that I'm honored to know the soldiers in my life and proud they protect/ protected our freedom. I salute all soldiers here inthe USA.
pattyangel
Thanks Bumper... We stand by the fallen and those who continue to serve us with their courage, bravery and strength. These are the men and women who gave the ultimate price for our freedoms. Honor them and respect them to the fullest.
tankdude
I'm taking part in 2 Memorial Day events - on the 2 different memorial days. We have a Veteran's parade on Monday the 26th. I will be part of the horse mounted color guard for that one. On the Traditional Memorial Day - May 30th - we are doing a flag folding ceremony at our state Veterans Ceremony. I get to be on the ceremonial cannon crew for that event. I take every chance I can to say thank you in some way to our fallen brothers in arms. I have participated in over 100 military funerals as a member of my state's Military Funeral Honors team for the National Guard. It's my waying of paying back just a bit to those veterans and their families. "May perpetual light shine upon them, may they rest peace."
