IMF forcing RV

One of the reasons the gurus gave as the RV today at 8am PST was that "The IMF is tired of waiting" and that they "were forcing the RV" on Iraq.

That's interesting, and I sure wish it was true and going to happen that way, but my question is: WHY?

Why would the IMF "force" and RV on anyone? I can't believe it's because they are "tired of waiting". That's school children logic.

If anyone knows of a logical reason why the IMF specifically might do this, please let me know... Not a reason why Iraq needs to RV--we all know those!

This is just my opinion on this, but I believe the crux that the international community is in right now is what truthfully needs this RV to happen, Oil needs to start flowing and getting imported ASAP, not to mention the help that the money will bring to all the countries who are waiting on it. GWB IMO was correct in the stating of "this war will pay for itself" and I also firmly believe that it will make the rest of the world get back on track. Once we're contributing back to the many avenues of domestic bliss that we will all surely be doing, money will flow freely again, not to mention pulling the other countries out of the debts they're in as well. These two wars have definitely caused a calamity economically worldwide.

I have not seen the post stating that the IMF is forcing it though, do you have a link?

Iraq has the "potential" to be one the biggest producers of oil and one of the richest countries in the world.But do they have the "drive" & "will" to achieve the prosperity thats been laid at they're footsteps? The world is betting yes on this question thus the loans-now it's time to put up or shut up.

What IMF does,

What I'm hearing is that several countries are staged to rv and the IMF is trying to direct all to take place in a same time span. Supposedly, the IMF wants to avoid folks from buying other currencies before another country might rv. If there is one country that rv's it would be possible to use some of that rv fund to buy other currencies.

Thats what I was planning on doing. I would like the dong to rv then take that money and buy more dinar. Steve
